Del Bigtree has released his film, An Inconvenient Study, chronicling a study comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated children. The study, conducted by Henry Ford Health and released after delays, reported that vaccinated children faced higher risks of certain chronic conditions. Among nearly 2,000 unvaccinated children, the study found zero cases of ADHD, diabetes, behavioral problems, learning disabilities, or intellectual disabilities. Vaccinated children showed a 4.29 times higher likelihood of asthma, three times higher for atopic diseases like eczema, nearly six times for autoimmune disorders, and 5.5 times for neurodevelopmental disorders, according to the findings. Overall, the study correlated vaccination exposure with a 2.5-fold increase in chronic health conditions, with 57% of vaccinated children developing one within 10 years versus 17% of unvaccinated children. Prior research by Dr. Paul Thomas on 3,324 children reported similar patterns, including 5.2 times higher asthma rates and no ADHD cases in unvaccinated groups. Major health organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, have criticized the study’s methodology as misleading and emphasized the established safety and efficacy of vaccines.
US Politics
In California, a voter claimed that marking “no” on Proposition 50, a redistricting measure, makes the vote visible through mail-in envelopes, potentially enabling targeted discarding. The individual demonstrated this by holding an envelope to light, revealing the mark’s transparency, and advised voters to orient ballots carefully to avoid detection. State election officials have denied the allegations, asserting that the voting process is secure and all ballots are handled with integrity.
In Massachusetts, foster parents lost their license after refusing to sign a state policy requiring affirmation of children’s LGBTQ identities, including the use of preferred names, pronouns, and support for gender-neutral practices. The couple, who had cared for eight foster children alongside their own, requested accommodations based on their Christian faith but were denied. Two other Christian families in the state filed a federal lawsuit against the Department of Children and Families over similar requirements. The Trump administration sent a letter criticizing the policy as violating First Amendment protections. LGBTQ advocacy groups have supported the policy, arguing it is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of youth in foster care.
In other news, a montage of broadcasts from figures including Jimmy Kimmel and Whoopi Goldberg featured nearly identical phrasing in describing Antifa’s activities. Some experts have pointed to purported connections between Antifa and groups like the Democratic Socialists of America, as well as alleged funding from NGOs supported by billionaires and foreign entities. The White House issued an order aimed at dismantling Antifa and held a roundtable focused on disrupting networks supporting protests, though some media outlets have questioned the designation as potentially politically motivated and infringing on free speech rights.
European Politics
Zack Polanski, co-leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, stated during a television interview that women can have penises and that biological sex is not necessarily binary. He described gender as a spectrum and claimed greater understanding of the issue than the UK Supreme Court, which recently ruled that “sex” in the Equality Act 2010 refers to biological sex at birth, rather than gender identity. The exchange occurred in a discussion on transgender rights and single-sex spaces. His comments align with the Green Party’s commitment to transgender rights and inclusivity, amid broader societal debates on gender identity.
Geopolitics
Russia accused the United States of plotting a coup in Venezuela under the guise of an anti-drug operation. At a UN Security Council session, Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia described the U.S. deployment of marines, warships, and airstrikes—which reportedly sank four boats and killed over 21 people—as a violation of international law aimed at regime change against President Nicolas Maduro. He dismissed U.S. claims of targeting drug cartels as fabricated, noting that Venezuela is not a major cocaine route. The U.S. maintained that the actions address Venezuelan ties to narcotics, with President Trump increasing the reward for Maduro’s arrest to $50 million and supporting opposition figures.
Meanwhile, NATO launched its annual Steadfast Noon nuclear exercise in the Netherlands, involving about 70 aircraft from 14 member states and 2,000 personnel at bases including Volkel Air Base. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte described the two-week drills as essential for maintaining an effective nuclear deterrent and signaling resolve to adversaries. No live nuclear weapons were used. NATO officials emphasized the exercise’s defensive nature and routine status in alliance training. Russian officials have condemned previous iterations of the exercise, calling them escalatory amid the Ukraine conflict; President Vladimir Putin accused Western Europe of anti-Russian hysteria and called for an extension of the New START treaty.
Privacy and Surveillance
JPMorgan Chase will require employees at its new Manhattan headquarters to submit biometric data, such as fingerprints or eye scans, for building entry starting later this year. The policy, confirmed in internal communications, applies to staff at the 60-story tower and integrates with a smartphone app for functions like meal orders and visitor registration. The bank described it as enhancing security amid urban crime concerns, though details on data storage and exemptions were not disclosed. No other major U.S. bank has implemented mandatory biometrics for general headquarters access; some critics have highlighted privacy risks in states without strict regulations like New York’s. Privacy advocates, including the ACLU, have raised concerns about potential invasions of employee privacy and the normalization of workplace surveillance.
The UK government proposed the BritCard as a mandatory digital ID, but an analysis described it as a public relations tactic amid an existing interoperable framework, including GOV.UK One Login and Wallet. The initiative aligns with global efforts like UN Sustainable Development Goal 16.9 for universal legal identity by 2030, involving public-private partnerships to link IDs with services, banking, and programmable digital currencies. Critics have argued that the BritCard announcement overlooks public opposition and existing identifiers, potentially enabling backend data integration without direct mandates. Government officials have stated that the digital ID aims to streamline public services and improve efficiency.
