Welcome to the Second American Revolution

Monday Round Up

I’m beginning to understand what it must be like to work for Elon Musk and why his companies do what others can’t. They don’t stop. They don’t rest.

All weekend long it was one more astonishing revelation after another. I don’t think there’s been a single day off since the day after the inauguration.

Frankly, it’s difficult to keep up, but that’s okay. This is how a revolution is supposed to feel.

Welcome to the 2nd American Revolution. I hope you enjoy your time here.

That’s not hyperbole, what’s taking place right now has no precedent in our system. After far too many years of complacency on the part of freedom-loving people, the raccoons and scoundrels of the ideological ultra-left executed a complete takeover of our major institutions, especially including the universities and government agencies and offices.

They tried a similar “ESG” and “DEI” takeover of corporate boardrooms, but those were rather immediately proven to be profit disasters (think “Bud Light” and woke Disney movies) and so are in the process of being ejected.

But the damage done to the young and impressionable has been extraordinary, with many falling for leftist ideas and ideals which, under examination, deliver people to a perpetual state of unhappiness, perpetual dissatisfaction, and resentment. You can see it all over their faces at any of their rallies. They’re really angry. All the time. About pretty much everything.

Along the way, an entire ecosystem of grifters sprang up getting fabulously rich by playing the game. They didn’t care who was harmed along the way, nor for the long-term prospects of their country. They cared about personal wealth and status.

They are going to be ridiculously difficult to dislodge, as John Kenneth Galbraith explains so well:

I think all of this is heading toward a great calamity because those opposed to releasing their exorbitant privileges are going to mount a rebellion of some sort. I’ll be discussing that in Part II today. Things could get ugly, in fact we should plan on it.

But for now, here’s a couple of examples of early rebellion.

(Source)

I’m not sure how, but FEMA got staffed up with people whose sense of duty and morality said to itself, “You know what? Screw Americans in need in North Carolina who have been suffering in quiet desperation since the hurricane, let’s send $59 million dollars to luxury hotels in NYC to pay for another week or two of illegal migrant hospitality.”

They probably felt righteous and rebellious as they did it. Soon they will feel like they have a lot more time on their hands, which they’ll eventually use to scour online job postings.

With any luck, a few of them will do this from jail cells.

An even worse example is that someone within the US government is tipping off locals when ICE raids are coming:

Early rumors are that the tips are coming from within the FBI. Again, hopefully, the people involved are immediately out of work, and soon occupying jail cells.

Just like Pfizer badly misjudged ramming the unsafe and ineffective “vaccine” on everyone and thereby killing is other vaccine product lines, the FBI and FEMA insiders have overplayed their hands and are soon going to discover that their opposition is all done quietly absorbing their nonsense all these many decades and have taken the gloves off.

This will soon be followed by them desperately crying “Uncle” and demanding that our side cease hostilities immediately, but again, they have misjudged. Go ahead and taunt the big guy in the bar who wants to be left alone, but if you provoke him off his chair, he’s going to finish what you started.

But there’s a deeper layer running here.

Decades of bureaucratic mission creep and deep state layering created a gigantic, unaccountable and impenetrable leviathan. Presidents could come and go, but the machinery of state would just keep grinding on doing its thing.

That has just come under a blitzkrieg assault.

The twin team of Trump and Elon are the perfect duo to pull it off too. Neither gives a fuck, and both want to change things. Each has their reasons. Trump’s were iron-forged in Butler PA, which will go down in history as the single greatest blunder of the Deep State.

They took a shot at the king and missed. They meant to splatter his head across the stage and even had their preferred NYTimes ‘history in the making’ photographer in the front row shooting at 1/8000th of a second to capture it all.

Instead, there were some slight miscalculations; an inappropriately tuned optical sight, perhaps a minor gust of wind and a small turn of the head, and to their horror they got this:

The rest, as they say, is history.

For his part, Elon Musk seems to be a man on a mission. He drives his teams hard and gets truly impressive results. He understands technology well enough to know which people to hire to get the job done.

What job is that? He wants to eliminate government waste, which is how DOGE got started. Almost immediately discovering inefficiency turned into discovering a vast oily sea of entrenched corruption.

The shrieks and howls from the parasite class were immediate and extremely loud.

Funnily enough, it’s now a left-right issue. This isn’t Democrats Vs. Republicans, even though there are many more odious examples on the left vs the right.

This is now a right vs. wrong issue:

Which means I am happy as can be. I’ve long occupied the up-down axis and always knew that any salvation we might have would need to be aligned that way. And here we are.

But back to the revolution. A man whose head providently turned just the right way at just the right moment, teamed up with the man who knows that our future lies in managing ourselves using the best tools we have available.

It isn’t merely that Elon’s teams are poking around in some musty government books, they are doing it with AI tools that are cutting through carefully constructed layers of fiscal and contractual obfuscation as if they didn’t exist at all.

The bright lights of transparency have burst onto the scene and the career bureaucrats and Ivy-League-educated NGO heads were completely unprepared. They are now scrambling, but it’s already too late.

There’s nothing they can do about this. AI has arrived. Government efficiency is going to be brought kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

All of those mountains and mountains of make-work jobs to administrate forms, assure contracts are according to rules and appropriations, or that nuclear plants conform to elaborately thick binders of rules & regulations are tasks that can be performed by AI in seconds.

This is an ELE (Extinction Level Event) for millions of government workers. An entire paradigm of “how things work” is going to be very suddenly dismantled.

Such is the fate of progress. It happens all the time in the private sector, and now it’s going to happen to the government sector.

But not without some serious pushback first. Which is concerning because ‘they’ could really do some damage in their attempts to stop all this progress. I mean really violent things that might cause death or might crash the economy.

This is a revolution. They tend to be messy affairs because the two sides have very different ideas about who should be in power and why.

Thank you to Chris for filtering out the noise as there are simply not enough hours in the day for me to keep up.

Regarding Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, I have some experience with that vehicle and it should be noted that the contributions are directed by the donors which are average retail investors. Thus you’re likely to see a huge spectrum of organization types so I wouldn’t assume anything nefarious there.

At the risk of overloading our already heavily-loaded podcast listening hours, one of the more interesting hypotheses about DEI etc. is covered in Jim Rutt’s interview with Rob Henderson on the concept of luxury beliefs: EP 280 Rob Henderson on Luxury Beliefs - The Jim Rutt Show The idea presented there is that taken in an evolutionary competition framework, DEI/ESG/etc. seems to be a way to signal great wealth (and figuratively speaking, pick up the chicks) while destroying up-and-coming competition.

If someone shoplifts a $901 handbag in San Francisco, CA. It’s a felony (again). So with all of these million-billion-trillions of public federal funds siphoned off, my question is who’s going to jail first? Better yet, who will be tried and hung first for treason, and will the hanging be streamed on X? They televised Sadaam Hussein after all, so we should at least get to see one of them hung. If there aren’t mass trials (and hangings … but at least mass trials), then something ain’t right.

Chris,
Thank you for another excellent scouting report. At this point I am choosing to believe that there is a positive 2nd American Revolution – and that Trump & Musk are NOT just part of a controlled-opposition theatrical event – that is designed to run we-the-people around the hog-lot. Below is one angle I have on the situation.

[Speculation: strategic analysis]
Trump has been dominating the “news-cycle” and winning the “information war” since January 20, 2025.

The former (dominating the news-cycle) – has been achieved by calculated Executive Orders regarding a Trump-administrative-Blitzkrieg - that has been effectively a recking-ball strategy against the extant legacy solidified DS system for hierarchical dominance and control. The recking-ball strategy has put the DS off-balance by defunding the DS infrastructure and scattering the bought-and-paid-for opportunist and brainwashed DS puppets.

The latter (winning the information war) has been complementary to the former (dominating the news-cycle) and has been leveraging percepts from Arrow’s (Impossibility) Theorem and in particular regarding the deployment of DOGE and disclosure from the same. In other words, the “ordering” (timing) of the DOGE disclosures in the news-cycle has strategically created, shaped, focused, mobilized and aimed - voters in the court-of-public opinion (peacefully).

The large quantity of recent Trump sponsored disclosure and sequential order of the same has been a critical advantage to blocking potential near-term DS soft-power strategic countermeasures.

In view of the July 13, 2024, Butler PA assassination attempt – Trump knows that there is NO deal to be made with certain elements in the DS. It appears that one of the likely DS strategies is to trigger a systemic-financial collapse in such a way to set up the narrative to blame it on Trump.

The current DS strategy appears to be laying the propaganda ground-work for the next DS move – by floating false narratives via the MSM – that DOGE is getting direct access to Treasury files, expropriating individual confidential information (e.g. Social Security nos.) and is “tinkering” with and compromising the integrity of the Treasury payments system.

This has the hallmarks of a classic DS predictive programing and confession-by-projection – and is telegraphing (potentially) the DS next move – aka triggering a collapse of the USD-financial system and Treasury payments system (by a false-flag cyber-attack? / blamed on Iran?) - and specifically causing the disruption of SS, Medicare, Medicaid payments etc. – in order to create general chaos and panic – that will be blamed on Trump/DOGE.

Trump at this point probably realizes there is a very high risk of the DS triggering a significant financial system collapse (of the USD-Ponzi) in order to derail Trump attempts to uncloak, defund and disable the DS.

A logical assumption (hopefully) is that the Trump strategy is anticipating and front-running the DS “financial-collapse” strategy – with massive rapid strategic disclosure of, and defunding of, and deactivation of - the legacy DS system of hierarchical dominance and repression – which will be the factual predicate for exposing and blocking the DS strategy – but also setting up the back-up plan - for inverting the synthetic DS narrative in the event that DS triggers a financial collapse scenario.

Presumably – Trump also understands that it is critical to maintain the initiative started on January 20th – that is maintain the Trump-rolling-thunder in order to keep the DS off-balance and at the same time roll-up decades of DS-infrastructure and neutralize certain controlling elements in the DS from pivoting, shape-shifting or otherwise hiding and going dormant in the near-term to re-emerge later with a counter attack.

If the above speculation is correct the DS brain-trust is probably going to pivot soon to an off-the-shelf default violent overwhelming false-flag triggering event to disrupt and break the Trump momentum and initiative – and attempt to force Trump to capitulate and make a deal with the DS.

The DS may threaten to genocide a large segment of the U.S. population and/or threaten to trigger a Mad-max senario in order to attempt to force Trump to capitulate and make a deal with the DS.

In the absence of a coerced DJT-DS deal or successful attempt to take Trump out again - the DS may follow through with its threats of triggering a Mad-Max scenario – and execute a concomitant strategy of targeted assassinations/suicidings of a plurality political enemies all at once during a grid-down event (when the lights go out). Obviously, I HOPE NOT – and hope that folks are as prepared as possible for whatever comes.

Except this time he doesn’t have a VP that’s actively undermining him, he has been rooting out the back door mechanisms they used to fund his opposition, and he as some advisors that have tools and resources that he didn’t have last time.

I’m not saying it will be easy or that he’ll necessarily prevail, but it will be a much better matched fight.

I think his biggest weakness is his slavish devotion to Israel. That will bite him in the end.

Anyone else read Catherine Austin Fitts on this? It’s a wee bit troubling.

I hope and pray there’s a critical mass of awake people - and vigilant alternative media to blunt full false flag effects, e.g., resist insistence of all out war retaliation against Iran. A major prolonged Internet outage and/or grid outage could create utter chaos. We need to pray against DS wicked schemes.

Yes, for my part – I find it troubling, but maybe for different reasons.

More observations below: Regarding referenced: Solari Report – article – 02/06/2025 - Trump Administration: Digital Control Grid Coming Together at High Speed - By Catherine Austin Fitts (link: Trump Administration: Digital Control Grid Coming Together at High Speed)

I like CAF – she brings an important perspective to the debate, and she voices out loud the fear that many of us non-forever-Trumpers have - who conditionally backed Trump for President.

CAF is essentially arguing Trump is a “Manchurian candidate” or controlled-opposition of the DS – and/or perhaps being used as a useful-idiot to put in place the final control infrastructure components in advance of a DS pivot from the current crypto-totalitarian State to a new planned open authoritarian technocracy.

Here are some quotes from the CAF article – “. . . leaders of the push for a totalitarian control [authoritarian technocratic] model and the central bankers had decided to back Trump because he could deliver the conservatives into the model” AND “As Steve Bannon rightly points out, Musk and the Silicon Valley crew could not care less about the American people. We might as well start calling Musk ‘President Musk’. Again, I understand the sentiment herein – but think it is misguided analysis.

However, CAF also makes in the same article some other good points that are well taken.

I understand generally the risk that CAF is identifying with the Trump Administration regarding digital IDs and Bitcoin – but her specific reporting and analysis, with all due respect is misguided and off-base (I think).

For example, CAF states – “The DOGE takeover of Treasury payment systems, combined with the purge of the civil service, is designed to end congressional control of fiscal flows and policies. This leaves the New York Fed and global central bankers in complete control of the fiscal line.” This is simply incorrect (see my other PP post on this topic) – DOGE is NOT taking over the Treasury Payment System – and this flawed analysis is unfortunately fueling a false DS narrative to block the Trump-Administrative-Blitzkrieg aimed at the REAL uncloaking and defunding of the infrastructure of the legacy DS system of hierarchical dominance and repression.

I agree that Trump is promoting and putting in place a potential system for digital IDs and using private crypto (Bitcoin) as a potential backup digital currency steppingstone - to replace the USD if/when the DS triggers a financial-collapse of the USD-Ponzi system (aka replacing one State sponsored Ponzi with another State sponsored Ponzi).

Trump’s support of Bitcoin is presumably (a misguided) part of his strategy to front-run the perhaps imminent DS strategy to create chaos and panic by collapsing the USD-fiat system and blaming him for the same.

I do not think that the Trump rolling-thunder recking-ball strategy that has put the DS off-balance by defunding the DS infrastructure and scattering the bought-and-paid-for opportunist and brainwashed DS puppets – is just another DS sponsored controlled-opposition theatrical event designed to run we-the-people around the hog lot.

Nevertheless, the end result may be the same – aka facilitating a pivoting of the current open-air prison planet to a new autocratic technocracy (factory farm) that has automated permanent full-spectrum dominance based on 24/7 Skynet system of surveillance and control. If CAF is correct – then we are just arguing about how we get there and what we call it.

I’m going to keep on with my theme at the expense of people getting exasperated with me for sounding like a scratched record (if you’re old enough to remember what one of those sounds like).

It’s great that this stuff is being exposed (none of it has surprised me so far – that’s really not a dis on your video, Chris, btw), but isn’t this all rather just chump change (to mix metaphors: like crumbs they’re throwing into the cage entrance for us)?

Here’s another metaphor: is it possible we’re looking at the wrong hand of the magician? What about the 21 trillion? How about talking to Catherine Austin-Fitts and Mark Skidmore?

To me itall feels to good to be true, and/or like an internal fight between the elites.

This is always a possibility that cannot be entirely discounted. However, don’t attribute more intelligence to our opponents than is warranted. Remember, this is the same team that thought that getting wrapped up in Ukraine and launching a disastrous Bud Lite advertising campaign were good ideas. I think that they’re more or less carrying out a relatively simple algorithm of “run left, harder; crush those in the way of the herd.” And oh brother, is the herd ever spooked.

In other words, sure, keep an eye out for treachery on our side. The entire RINO wing of the Republicans and the pseudo-populists like Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders of the Democrats have been smoked out, and I think that they’re the real traitors. Trump and Musk and team probably aren’t the turncoats. Don’t let these worries black-pill you into inaction.

Galbraith made a multi-part documentary about economics, I think for PBS in the '70s, that I watched a while back. (Not sure if it’s on YouTube; I think I might have downloaded it via torrent.) I recall it being quite good and worth digging up if that’s your kind of thing.

I do recall his making this same point in it, about people of privilege losing everything multiple times in history because they refused to concede anything.

This also reminds me of Victor Davis Hanson talking about ‘elites’ he associates with in his work and how entitled and detached they are. One anecdote, about how they often despise the middle class particularly, was a guy getting irritated about jet-skis and complaining that middle class people think they need income for nonessential items like that. Another one was about them opposing school reform while sending their own kids to exclusive private schools; VDH says they will look you in the eye and explain with complete sincerity that their own children are future leaders so obviously must attend better schools than the masses.
