Will The Sleeper Cells Be Activated This Weekend?

And keeping half the country hating the other half. You gotta keep em seperated!

Heyyy-ayay, come out and play!

Also:

Divided we fall.

No Kings are the least. The Chinese special forces are alreay here!! as the ukraine strike and Israeli strike show; units can infiltrate and facilitate or launch strikes at chosen targets. That threat is here now!!
As for when, maybe soon as we confront China strategic moves in Pacific.
(remember 1941-42)
China is ready, we are not (being addressed now)

Thanks for highlighting

A joust you say?
Alright then.
I do have a base for my (admittedly offhand) response and it’s my learned experience from political zealots I’ve known over time.
That’s all sides, not just the liberal/conservative construct.
But first the Libs, since that’s the jab I take here.
I’ve known many. I used to think I was one.
In the years after 9/11 I was solidly anti-R and felt completely justified in that position.
It was pretty easy to point to that whole kerfuffle and say anything else had to be better.
Of course I was naive.
I also worked for a public agency then and was exposed to liberal policy constantly.
I watched that paradigm deteriorate with DEI and outright grift over time, and even knowing I was being marginalized I couldn’t accept that conservatives had anything better to offer.
I’d known too many crap R’s in my earlier years who felt it was their right to exploit anyone they could.
I’ve worked for many of them. (Why yes, please explain to me again why I should love the tri-lateral commision?).
But it all fell apart for me with Bernie. I was all in on his candidacy, donated, supported and went to the caucus’.
And that was eye-opening.
I saw the two faces of the Libs up close and personal. The kind of personal where someone smiles in your face as they’re picking your pocket, and when you call them on it (if you do) being told ā€œyeah we’re robbing you, but it’s for the greater goodā€. Do your part. Don’t ask questions.
But through all that - I learned about the delegate process, the convention, how a campaign ā€œpivotsā€ - a nice way to say, yeah forget about all that happy sh^t we said before…here’s what we need to do now, and don’t ask why it’s completely different.
I found and funded as many delegates as I could, knowing they would be jacked on travel costs at the convention, but whatever - it needed to be done!
And then Bernie caved.
All for naught! Thanks for the money and the memories, now support Hilary you plebe.
I was f*cking broke while doing all of this BTW, and it took a damn long time to extricate myself from act-blue when I realized I’d been had.
After years of finding common ground with my Lib friends, I started asking some pointed questions about where they were with their positions.
I asked if they had funded any of thier delegates.
They didn’t even know what I was talking about, they hadn’t done any of the footwork I had, one gave his government issued campaign donation check to a PAC he knew nothing about.
But they were screaming at me that if I didn’t support Hilary then Trump might get elected and if that happened we would all surely die!
Another long time friend has recently quoted mainstream talking points while claiming to be informed, and when pressed (like, so, what are your sources?) he finally admited he was repeating what he’d heard from others and had done no homework of his own.
I’ve patiently explained the Minsk agreement to him and others, explained how and why Elon was working for the government and for what end, etc. and I might as well be talking to a wall. I include my family in this group.
And they’re (mostly) all jabbed. Sigh. I tell them about effective treatments, and they go back to ā€œtheirā€ doctors when they get covid. Over and over again. I don’t think I’ll be arguing with any of them for much longer.
So when I take a punch at liberal protestors, I believe it’s an informed jab and for cause.
Now about Trump.
I supported him in the last election, not in the first.
I like him as well as I liked Arnold Schwarzenegger for governer of California.
TV character-actors aren’t real! Stoopid voters!
But still, I feel better with Trump pissing off the deep state than I would with Kamala doing god knows what. I think.
His stated policy is changing, and I wouldn’t trust anyone who tells me I should like what I’m seeing.
I will accept that the candidate I voted for is perhaps compromised, and will have no trouble saying that to anyone who asks.
But I’m convinced he’s done a little bit of good too.
What did Brandon do we could say that about?
I can’t think of anything. But my Lib friends imagine that he has, or that putting together one coherent sentence in an entire term is evidence of capable leadership.
So if I’m going to make a point here I think it’s this.
Dear Liberals - You will get more Trump until you stop throwing up crap candidates and policies.
(Or said another way, the beatings will continue until morale improves).
So touch`e!
I’m no Trump fan-boi, but I do think I can choose the lesser evil.
For what it’s worth I liked Elons proposal of an 80% party.
But after Bernie, and distantly Ross Perot, I have no hope, nor will I do 79% of the work for the uninformed, shiftless and lazy.
That’s my story.
I’m sticking to it.
It’s been a nice match.

Well…I didn’t say that, but whatever gets you through the night :joy:

I sincerely agree with everything you’ve shared here. I understand your ā€œadmittedly offhandā€ response. That’s your thing, your right to say what you need to say and express it anyway you want to.

I guess I just object to the umbrella name-calling in using the term ā€œmentally illā€. I get your point, why you said it, what your story is (thanks again for sharing it and FWIW I’ve also had similar experiences), but…

Just not cool in my book. But you do you. We’re all free.

Sigh. I know, I know, I know.

I guess I’m not willing to throw every single person who thinks this way under the bus in some collective pile of people who may be part of the brainwashed. I am interested in understanding the minds of the people I know (such as some of my old college friends) who seem to be part of the cult you’re talking about.

I’m not interested in presenting data, convincing anyone that what they think is ā€œwrongā€, or changing anyone’s mind in any way. Call me crazy, but I just want to listen and try to understand why they think the way they do. I can only really do this with people I know personally. Otherwise, it’s just way too easy to say ā€œtheyā€ all the time…referring to these anonymous folks I have never met personally…and that just doesn’t carry any meaning for me.

Right now, the old college friends are not even willing to engage in any conversations containing opposing points of view. This is what I am striving to penetrate.

I do agree with all that you’ve said about Agenda 2030. I’m well informed on the points you’ve made here.

ā€œI’m also particularly interested in the question of paid protesters at a larger protest like this. Are these the individuals who might actually cause the disruption on behalf of (for lack of a better way of saying it) No Kings?ā€

It’s a rally for the opposition.
It’s role-playing for the party loyalists. They get to act like the ā€œresistanceā€ to a ā€œkingā€ - by standing outside for two hours waving signs.
It’s a ploy to assert their relevance to the political scene. It’s a play where they pretend to be grass roots, organic opponents.
