Aren’t we all?..

To answer question: I don’t see how riots help them at all. It will just make people say “see that’s how they are.” I am worried about those with TDS going crazy in a variety of ways, crashing up cars, OD’s, strange public outbursts and they are possibly dangerous. On a good day near me, people are becoming more and more unhinged. It’s very apparent on the road. On a bad day?

Late and hopefully great evening, Chris and Evie! What do you think about the situation with last census over/under counting population in key states and changes to electoral college numbers, invaders don’t even need path to citizenship to skew the election results anymore
Best wishes, D

Yes, you can get there without Pennsylvania. At least I’ve seen an analysis. Kamela pretty much has to have Pennsylvania to win. But Trump has other avenues, involving states like Arizona, Nevada, etc.

Looks like PA should go to Trump. The remaining (uncounted) counties are republican. At least until the midnight shenanigans.

You don’t want a popular vote in a country as big as the US with so many states. The “genius” of the US is it was set up to allow competitive competition between so many micro cultures and economies. That allows people to flee one state and congregate in another where they are better represented.

Does anyone else find it “interesting” that after all the cultural changes over the last 50 years, elections are still pretty much a toss-up? How do they keep it at 50-50? Seems like very good management.

Thanks Chris and Evie! Pippin and I are still here in western North Carolina helping with clean up, distributing supplies and rebuilding. I think the voting might be a bit light here as so many poling places are still closed. Many have alternates, but there are many people with limited or no access in WNC.

Brigitte, have you heard of any places where people can donate stuffed animals (or toys) to children whose families were victims of Helene? My children have plenty they would be willing to share.

The Young Turks are are actively losing faith but the meltdowns have not occurred yet. Cenk is saying 75 percent to Trump. “if she wins it will be a razor thin margin.” “does not look good” Etc.

That’s encouraging.

Oppp. Here come the rants…“only a bitch like trump” “that ridiculous clown of a man is going to be the president for another 4 years.”

Hilarious

So as historical perspective, after Chris was done streaming, I went to CSPAN to watch Clinton HQ area when Podesta had to come out and break the news. I wanted to see how they handled it versus whatever Kamala is going to do…
And no lyin’, but about 3 minutes before Johnny P. comes out because Clinton is breaking stuff in her room and refuses to face the cameras, the CSPAN cameras pan the crowd and there’s a man consoling a crying woman. And he is wearing a Kamala Harris hat with a Hillary button. Wtaf.

Its at 5:59:45 in the video here if you want to check my math: https://www.c-span.org/video/?418089-101/hillary-clinton-campaign-headquarters

I know right? That was an early night for him. I surely expected a longer stream.
…leave them wanting more, I suppose.

Northern California voting Trump, Red Ticket, don’t write us off!

USD is suggesting (I think) an Orange Hitler victory. Its up a massive 1.62%, and the rally started right at 7pm Eastern. You can see it a bit more clearly in the Euro, which has plunged 1.72% over that same period.

Bonds plunged at right around that same time. TLT is off maybe 3%. Ouch.

And Blessed Bitcoin is up 7%.

“Something happened” at 7pm. I don’t think the dollar rally signifies a Cackling Victory. After all - when Senile Joe was removed from the playing field (by “democracy”), the dollar sold off for (more or less) 13 weeks.

We’re full up on physical donations. Truly. Asheville is still without potable water and businesses are not open. Thousands of people are out of work. Cash money is what’s needed now. Not sure the best way to do that.
