I should have known the Democratic turnout would by abysmal. I have several young hippy friends. They base their world view on Critical Race Theory. Systematic racism literally explains the world from their point of view. Their into the gender ideology thing too, although I convinced my closest friend among them that medical interventions for minors are a travesty. A couple of them know a member of one of the top few very well connected elite families quite well, so they have some idea what goes on behind the scenes.
To them Trump is a dangerous authoritarian racist, but Harris is a deep state puppet. Their choice: donât vote. I thing their POV is held by a substantial number of other liberals who are not in the core democratic demographics. The result: low democratic turnout.
Republicans on the other hand know this is do or die for the future of this country for them and especially their children. They adore Trump. The result: very high republican turnout.
Really interesting. Sounds like Biden Replacement (No Primary for You, Dem Voters, because âdemocracyâ) didnât play out as well as they had planned. It demotivated voters. Maybe ask your friends if Biden Replacement had any effect on their view of Kamala as a deep state puppet?
I agree about Republican turnout. Article today talked about voting turnout in those NC towns hit by the Election Hurricane. Mad at FEMA = go vote.
Iâm worried because this is what happened in 2020 about this time on election night. Trump was up and then counting stopped, people went to bed and the next morning Biden had âwon.â
Now there are reports coming out that theyâve stopped counting in certain places and reports of trucks coming in with uncounted votes. WI, MI and PA.
Now Trump and his supporters are in the unenviable position of trying to live up to the various expectations that so many people have projected onto him. While presiding over various cans running out of road.
Please try not to be too disappointed when nothing you want to change really changes but somehow there is the time and energy to advance the usual agendas such as CBDC, digital ID, censorship etc etc. Just the way it is.
Still, I think it was important that the Dems, media and celebs got a bloody nose. A clear message that people donât want what they are shoving down our throats morning noon and night.
Iâm still concerned. The media outlets (all of them) have Trump listed at 266 electoral votes and this continues to remain unchanged. They are indicating that some of the remaining states are too close to call. Iâm afraid theyâre manufacturing votes in a back room somewhere.
