So I have been looking at the stocks/rifles of all men on the roof just to see if any are similar for a swapsy. I know, ridiculous.
This is what we need. Then, there will be more questions and more work for everyone here I’m betting.
I’ve got a ton of questions.
Being a noob to this site, maybe some have been answered already.
First question that comes to mind is ---- Do we know who was the first agent(s) to arrive at Crooks body? The earliest video I have seen it appears that there were 4 agents - one having the body cam attached.
Secondly, who is the agent - SS agent I presume - who is wearing a dark suit & red tie - that is on the roof early on? How did he access the roof - meaning what ladder?
I got more questions but those 2 come to my mind first.
He used the black tactical ladder that was placed just beside Door 8/building 3. You can see it in one the bodycam video (not sure which one right now).
The guy is called “Agent Smith” but I doubt it’d his real name.

That image seems to be one of the earliest images of Crooks.
How many agents were present at that moment? (agents = law enforcement officers)
Also, this pic shows the arms of Crook unfettered so I presume it was one of the earliest pics.
I remember them fiddling with a telescopic ladder on top of that flimsy, plastic locker. (Another keystone cop moment) I musta overlooked Agent Smith using that ladder but I will need to review the body cam video again.
He could have used the larger ladder they brought out and placed behind the Italian Cypresses. I don’t remember where in the timeline this ladder was brought out from the AGR complex. It is probably from their facility maintenance team
Click on this link and you will see the bodycam footage I took the screenshot from (before hands were ziptied behind back).

I see what you are saying! The 1st pic
And the 2nd pic
Are supposedly the same gun. The 1st pic has the stock completely gone, but the 2nd pic just shows a piece missing but the cylinder is still there. @sgt-raven could they have just taken this piece out for the pic and added it back for the other pic?
No. The 'buffer tube/ receiver extension is there in both pictures. The shorter length is what allows it to collapse.
I see where Thomas got his “looks like he kissed a moving train” face.
So the buffer tube is just collapsed here?
Hehehe, I remember myself laughing hard when I first saw that scene, right out of a Laurel and Hardy slapstick. He’s looking at that ladder like it’s something out of space he never seen or used before. That agent is for sure no hands-on guy.
So I quickly looked it up because I needed another good laugh as well.
It’s Bodycam BWC2-122125, for the whole “Agent Smith” scene watch timestamp 18:18:50 - 18:21:10, it’s hilarious!
No. the stock slides back and forth over the buffer tube. The buffer tube is a fixed length.
you can see it in the dashcam video of the car parked in front of AGR6 (18:29:30 - 18:29:38), when they pass through with that ladder. I wonder how heavy this ladder is since they need 2men to carry it?
So because that ladder wasn’t in place when “Agent Smith” went up the roof, he had to use the other one.
A 10’ is about 40lbs and a 12’ is about 65lbs. Actual weight would depend on the brand/model. They used two people because it could be awkward for one person to carry it and they had multiple people right there.
True, they really had enough manpower at this day. In the Dave Stewart video, when he was filming the area in front of the red barn, you could see plenty of SWAT and others standing around/going in and out.
So I somehow feel they were just not put in the right places by the person who was responsible for the detail that day.
Yo, bullying physical features isn’t cool. People have no control over stuff like that. Get classier.
Remember what their assignments were, Counter Assault Team (CAT) and Quick Reactionary Force (QRF) and what those teams do. I think they were placed appropriately for those roles.
