Autism, Fascism, and Denialism

Executive Summary

In this episode, I delve into some deeply troubling issues that are affecting our society, particularly focusing on the rise in autism rates and the political and social reactions to it. RFK Jr. has been vocal about the environmental causes of autism, suggesting that it’s not just a matter of better diagnosis but a real increase due to external factors. His statements have stirred a significant backlash, which I find both disturbing and revealing.

RFK Jr.’s Stance on Autism

RFK Jr. has been clear: “Autism destroys families. More importantly, it destroys our greatest resource which are children.” He’s not just pointing out the problem; he’s suggesting that this is a preventable disease, likely caused by environmental exposures. This is a bold claim, but one that resonates with many who’ve seen the dramatic rise in autism firsthand. He’s careful with his words, not directly blaming vaccines but highlighting that something in our environment is causing this epidemic.

The Backlash

The reactions to RFK Jr.’s statements have been telling. From Senator Liz Warren’s dismissal of his concerns as “disgusting and dangerous” to personal attacks on his character, it’s clear that there’s a resistance to even discussing the potential causes of autism. This isn’t just about disagreement; it’s about silencing a conversation that could lead to uncomfortable truths.

Personal Reflections

I’ve seen the impact of autism up close, and it’s devastating. Families are torn apart, lives are altered, and the future for these children can be uncertain. When I hear RFK Jr. say, “We are doing this to our children,” it hits hard. It’s a wake-up call, a plea for us to look beyond the surface and question what’s happening.

The Broader Implications

This episode isn’t just about autism; it’s about how we’re dealing with truth and accountability in our society. The resistance to RFK Jr.’s message, the dismissal of his concerns, and the personal attacks reflect a broader issue. We’re in a time where questioning the status quo, especially when it involves powerful industries or government policies, is met with hostility.

Conclusion

The conversation around autism, as highlighted by RFK Jr., is a microcosm of a larger societal issue. We need to foster an environment where questioning, investigating, and seeking the truth is not only allowed but encouraged. The resistance we’re seeing is not just about one man’s statements; it’s about a culture that’s increasingly intolerant of dissent. We must stand firm in our resolve to protect our children, our families, and our right to question and seek the truth. Remember, as the poem I shared suggests, those who just want to be left alone can become a formidable force when pushed too far. Let’s not push them. Let’s seek understanding and solutions together.

Is there a thread somewhere regarding items that will be most scarce from the tariffs. The ships from China are coming over empty and trucking is coming to a standstill. One item I know for sure that people should stock up in is every part for their cars they can think of.

Heads are EXPLODING!!

At Covid.gov and whitehouse.gov an entirely new narrative about Covid is posted.

Summaries of the House oversight report are posted.

Strongly indicates Lab Origin.

Fauci actively lied and deceived the public and regulators.

That the 6’ rule was arbitrary and “just sort of appeared.” No science background behind this.

And much more.

My take on that is a famous line in the Movie “An Officer And A Gentleman”. Lou Gossett Jr wanted to discharge Richard Gere but couldn’t find a way. He finally had a enough and told Gere you’re outta here. That’s when Gere uttered the famous line: “DON’T DO IT, I have nowhere else to go”.

That is what our aging politicians in my view have realized. Because of their policies and laws, they have ruined what once was a great nation. Now they are coming to the conclusion, that the US is in terminal decline. It is facing a sovereign debt default and someone else will replace the US in the global pecking order. Welcome to human history 1.01 where every empire fizzles and collapses.

JMG, wrote an article addressing this very thing. Politicians right now are in protect mode protecting the core of politics because they know when the public pulls the curtain like in the Wizard of Oz they will see the emperor has no clothes.

Sadly these politicans like Warren et al, don’t care about anybody but themselves. They don’t even care about their children or what will become of their grandchildren. All they are concerned is to keep the gravy train rolling until the bitter end.

Its appalling how many people now equate “autism” with a slightly quirky “neurodiverse” techbro and hatefully dismiss parents with severely disabled children with full blown autism. I’ve called them out and shamed them every chance I get. I used to work direct care with autistic young adults. There is no fixing kids that bad. They will never get jobs or do nice things. Even walking outside or having a family member visit is often traumatic for these kids, too much stimulation. My own son was diagnosed with “autism”, but dietary changes and special ed helped it gradually get better. We were lucky. Every single one of his friends that he went to the special school with are still stuck there. They did NOT “get better.” They did NOT “mainstream” back into regular school.

My wife and I have 4 children - 2 with special needs. My oldest is on the autism spectrum with ADHD. He’s in high school and fairly high functioning but with challenges. My oldest daughter was born at 26 weeks had a stroke at birth and was estimated to lose a third of her brain. She’s a teenager now and given the challenges at birth, she’s a miracle. But she does have significant health, physical and mental challenges.

Neither my wife, my oldest son nor I was at all offended by anything RFK jr had to say. Matter of fact it’s a blessing that we have someone curious about trends and causes of autism. Special needs including autism have dominated my family’s life. I have spoken with parents of children all over the spectrum. To the extent that RFK jr might have painted a broad brush, there’s a lot of truth in what he said. And based on my experience there’s also many (high functioning) children that will lead fairly normal lives with the right support and early interventions.

The main point though is that no family should have to walk this path if it is avoidable. For me this is the encouraging part of RFK jrs initiative. My only criticism is that I want this and other MAHA initiatives to happen sooner.

I want to thank @cmartenson for his insightful investigation of early COVID. This changed my life path and professional role through these last years.

And this community that unearthed theses truths and provided a place for us all to do our “adjustment reaction thing” together.

Many of the Emergency Medicine colleagues are just barely getting exposed to the magnitude of the COVID conspiracy. Were it not for PP and Chris I might still be among them.

On public hangings:

“Tradition is a set of solutions for which we have forgotten the problems. Throw away the solution and you get the problem back. Sometimes the problem has mutated or disappeared. Often it is still there as strong as it ever was.” - Donald Kingsbury

Have you heard of the story of the Dutch politician Johan de Witt?

The description of the cause of his eventual death I heard from a Dutchman was somewhat different from that of Wikipedia, however.

That Helen Joyce clip is so disturbing. And I wonder if the problem may be even larger than we realize, because TPTB made such an effort to conflate homosexuality with “transgenderism”, as if they’re just two positions on the same spectrum. I wonder if there are parents with a homosexual child, and because everyone has been trained to think that LGBTQIA+ (not even sure I got all those letters right) is all one thing, they think that an attack on transgenderism is also an attack on homosexuality, and therefore an attack on their child, and then have a kneejerk reaction that, well, they’ve got to fight against those who argue against trans-ing kids.

Institutional credibility took a huge hit during Covid.

Now, imagine if many of the heartbroken families of autism victims were to realize that Big Pharma did this to them and the FDA was the facilitator? And it was covered up for decades by government, the health care establishment, Big Pharma, politicians and the media?

Can you imagine?

This may explain why the usual suspects are going overboard to attack RFK, Jr.

Such a disclosure - if it got traction - would not be a blow to institutional credibility, it would be a nuclear strike.

I read the google news feed this morning. The media is trying to change the narrative from “what is the cause of autism” to “RFK, Jr. is attacking autistic children and their families.”

They are desperately trying to change the topic of discussion. This just like Russiagate. The media changed the topic from “what is contained in the Clinton emails” to “the Russians are meddling in our elections.”

That tactic - as improbable as it was - actually worked. Even today, despite Russiagate being discredited, no one talks about what was actually in those emails - such as the fact that Hilary Clinton knew full well that American weapons supplied to Saudi Arabia were being diverted to ISIS.

The same diversionary tactic is now being used on the autism question. That tells me that someone or some group knows full well what caused the autism epidemic and they are scared to death of disclosure.

Important update from your friend Michael Yon. Keeping up with with all of this is like juggling spaghetti. China Camp still running.
Hopefully you guys can connect for another interview for us where Michael can finish his thoughts.

Bless Michael Yon. I mistakenly thought Trump had at least taken care of this issue. As long as the plumbing remains, it’s is far from addressed.

He corrected Stew so he spent the rest of the interview talking over him. Why have a knowledgeable person on only to interrupt him?

About Fascism, It seems like no one is defining it in the same way that I do. Words matter, and it’s important to have a shared understanding of them.

Fascism is an ancient concept, captured symbolically by the Roman Fasces as on the reverse of the US Dime. The Romans understood it as the principal of ‘Strength in Numbers’ applied to politics. In other words, if you have a large enough mass of people, then you can force your will on government or society. In order to build this power, individuals deffer themselves to a central concept, but also often to a leading figure who guides the mass and represents the collective will. Fascism is Authoritarian, deferential to authority.

In the 1920’s and 1930’s, it was reinterpreted to mean an active group of dissidents could seize power, such as Mussolini did. Or that mass groups could bully and coerce society into compliance with their new standards and values, like the National Socialists and Bolshivists.

Fascism is a strategy for accumulating and wielding power. It is not a type of Government per se because it does not answer who should hold power and how it is to be transferred. It doesn’t have anything about Race inherent to it, nor does it mean an alliance of Gov. and Market Corporations.

Chris has quoted Mussolini; “Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” It means the State coordinates the activities of economic bodies to achieve its aims, and selects corporations for their compliance. The Corporatism he speaks of is therefor antecedent to the success of the revolution, and still a subject of pressure from the masses.

I’m always happy to hear a different interpretation.

For anyone interested in checking for PFAS in their household goods and foods, I received this link from a like-minded friend last year (scroll about 1/3 of the way down to see links to the goods which they rate as better/best. vs worst):

I was surprised to see “Green makeup” on the list and some organic products that have PFAS in them too. Having said that, this is just one tool of many. I’ve seen them recommend deodorants that are known to have aluminum in them in the “best” category, so research before you shop!

Anna, your luck sounds similar to that of Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg that Del Bigtree has hosted a few times. She woke up after her son was diagnosed with mild autism and after speaking with a doctor who listened, made dietary changes that had the same positive effect.

She mentioned on one episode of The HighWire that she’s hoping to build a care center where aging parents could would feel comfortable leaving their autistic adult children with people who were trained to help, kind of like a nursing home, but for adults with autism.

The 1st episode (~10 min) explains the clinic, 2nd is the overall episode this clip came from and the third is Jenny talking about her journey into discovering the vax madness along with husband Donnie Wahlberg:
