Thanks for the link. I just watched it. I think that this is pretty poor journalism. This guy was being encouraged to say some stupid things. He is an economist working for the FDA and he sounds like he has a sarcastic sense of humour. Putting something like this out there undermines Project Veritas’ credibility.

A comment somewhere in these threads prompted me to download the spreadsheet available here. From that, I created the following chart:
One can think of the area between the green line and zero between January and April as deaths wrongly attributed to covid. If they were real covid deaths, the excess deaths would approximately equal the covid deaths. Average deaths from 2015-2019 were about 1300 per week in the winter and 1000 per week in the summer. This amounts to 2393 out of 4124 deaths attributed to covid or 58% of all covid deaths. Of course, this is subject to error since deaths can vary for many reasons.
The excess deaths not attributed to covid in late spring and summer could be vaccine deaths. This amounts to 1275 people. As of today, 3.8 million Scots have received both doses, but let’ back up to perhap a month ago. I can’t find old data, but I’ll guess 3.5 million 1275/3.5 million = 350 per million or 0.35 per thousand. This is not too far from Steve Kirsch’s estimate of 1 per thousand.

An appeal for an objective, open, and transparent scientific debate about the origin of SARS-CoV-2
“We believe the strongest clue from new, credible, and peer-reviewed evidence in the scientific literature is that the virus evolved in nature, while suggestions of a laboratory leak source of the pandemic remain without scientifically validated evidence that directly supports it in peer-reviewed scientific journals”. In fact, this argument could literally be reversed. As will be shown below, there is no direct support for the natural origin of SARS-CoV-2, and a laboratory-related accident is plausible.

I found the video posted by Canuck21 to be surprisingly well-done. This article links to Sharri Markson’s full length documentary, posted on Fox Nation (free trial available).
I ran across a straight-shooter journalist in the BMJ critiquing how the major science journals created an unbreakable barrier to challenges to the natural origins cover story.
The covid-19 lab leak hypothesis: did the media fall victim to a misinformation campaign? Worth reading, if only to recover from the pompousness and certainty of the past year’s denials. I was enthused by the (failed) attempts to get journal editors to explain their conduct. My only quibble with the piece was its title: this was clearly disinformation, not misinformation.
Following the same journalist, Paul Thacker, to his excellent Substack, I found a link to the British Channel 4 lab leak documentary.

jerryr offered some really helpful thoughts as to why COVID doesn’t work as a bioweapon (other than to produce fear and get everyone to take killer shot vaccines).
For me, though, this doesn’t explain the gain of function work. We know that DoD was the primary funder of EcoHealth–much more than NIH–even if DARPA swears they never funded WIV. Their denial doesn’t count for much for me. [Parenthetical thought: When Fauci said NIH didn’t fund GoF at WIV, is it possible he meant they funded GoF at another Wuhan lab?] Why the hell was DoD funding GoF research if it wasn’t to create a bioweapon? I’d really like to hear your thoughts about that. I’m not gullible enough to believe it was to make a more robust vaccine, BTW.
If you appreciate scientific ballet, you might enjoy Kristian Andersen trying to pirouette his way out of having led the natural origins paper right after telling Fauci the virus looked engineered. It appears to me that he is still lying, and has utterly destroyed his credibility.

I agree with you completely, and I’m sorry if my post wasn’t clear. I do believe that the SARS-CoV2 virus was probably developed as a bioweapon. If it was developed out of a desire to benefit public health, we wouldn’t be seeing the hysterical attacks on effective early treatments. And we’d be seeing more humility about the downside of the vaccines.
But if it’s been designed and deliberately released as a bioweapon, my concern is that the goal may be to produce delayed effects. This could be capillary thrombosis causing long-term circulatory system damage, or prion folding creating plaques in the brain, or promotion of autoimmune disease, or damage to fertility, or all of these.
And, the virus and the vaccine may have been designed together as a bioweapons system. The perpetrators might be equally satisfied whether their victims fall from delayed consequences of viral infection, or repeated injections with toxic spike protein.
