Can America Survive A Corrupt Court System?

Originally published at: https://peakprosperity.com/can-america-survive-a-corrupt-court-system/

Trump’s most recent trial – one of a series of lawfare actions against him by the Blue Team – will go down in history as the most corrupt action taken against a major opposition political figure.

The details are alarming as they indicate that the system of justice no longer even pretends to adhere to the principles of law or even the appearance of fairness.

I would gently remind the foaming-at-the-mouth Trump haters, that the ends do not justify the means, that Genies are impossible to put back in the bottle, and that what comes around goes around.

The true target of the weaponization of law by the state is you.

If they can do this to Trump – an exceedingly rich former President of the US – then they can easily do it to you as well.

Of course, this is a path that very rapidly leads to tit-for-tat reprisals, then anarchy, and finally mass atrocities, just as Mattias Desmet warned us it would.

We are well down that path now.

Of course, the outcome of this trial is also serving another purpose which is to deepen the divides between and among us. “They” love a divided population waring among itself like so many Rats in a Cage.

But, here we are.

My best advice is to plant a garden. Get more food and ammo stored up. Make whatever capital investments in your house or homestead you feel are necessary and prudent.

It’s game on.

As it appears, laws/justice no longer apply. No holds barred, take it to the limit folks.

The court of public opinion=mob rule.

I call it the ‘Sam Harris’ thing; cult behaviour and complete absence of insight.

All that coupled to a moral certainty of being right about it all…

Its quite disturbing.

Love JHK’s take on this

“The hour is much later than you think…on multiple fronts: Financial, political, medical and geopolitical.”

- Edward Dowd

The former president is now convicted on thirty-four counts of book-keeping errors in furtherance of an alleged 2016 federal election violation that the Federal Election Commission declined to charge — that is, paying a porn star to sign a non-disclosure agreement [not illegal] about a sexual liaison [also not illegal]— because it is not a crime under federal election law, and about which the head of the FEC, James E. “Trey” Trainor III, was barred by Judge Merchan from testifying on during the course of the trial for reasons yet unknown.

In the meantime, through the luminescent fog of gloat, perhaps you did not notice that “Joe Biden” took a giant step yesterday toward commencing World War Three. The move was framed as the US gives Ukraine permission to use American missiles to strike deep within Russia . That was a bit disingenuous, you see, because Ukraine’s military lacks the know-how to actually launch the missiles, so American military “advisors” will have to be on hand to [program and launch the missiles], meaning US military personnel will commit an act of aggression upon Russia.

It’s all starting to form a scrap of sense. Poke the Bear for WW3, Divide the US to provoke a Civil war, Write rules to ‘Lawfully’ take your money, Alphabet soup (LGBT…) the Family unit to pieces. It’s in the reactions we people make to these jabs at our sense of what’s right.

Please consider liberating us upstate yorkers in the future.

I fear it’s too late in the game to leave and try to start over somewhere.

The arrogance is what has changed. Somehow, it is no longer acceptable to hold a difference of opinion—- I look back at old videos of the USA from the 70s, 80s, 90s…. Brings back memories I have of other moments of conflict. I remember people disagreeing, sometimes forcefully, but the prideful condemnation that reared its head during COVID, and now we see with the Trump trial, is new. Where did that come from? The advent of social media??? Too many years of easy living?

Once there was a sailor on a sub who hated his bunk mate. Consumed with hatred, he spent untold hours planning his rival’s demise. Then one night he achieved his goal: planting a pellet of Zyklon B in the submarine’s ventilation system, he lay on his bunk gleefully awaiting the imminent end of his enemy…

Yup, that’s where we’re at. :frowning:

Ladies and gentlemen!
Tonight, we present to you, the Donkey Show!

Cultish indoctrination.
To admit that they could be wrong would upend their entire worldview, invalidate the majority of their life choices, and lose their entire social circle/community/support network. They’ll have to start over from nothing.
They’re far too invested; easier to just double down.

Late stage bureaucracy, I guess?

Almost sorry to say it, but it occurs to me every time I see this…

You might anticipate needing to defend your independent food supply from random thieves, but if things get so bad that food is in seriously short supply, I’d expect an ‘emergency’ declared and the police dispatched to secure your stocks ‘for the common good’ – and your defenses will be irrelevant.

If you’re not at least in a state where the local culture would rebel against this instinctively and strongly, I don’t know what you’re thinking. Massachusetts… really, Chris?

Very true. Has anyone who lives in an area that is deeper blue thought about purchasing and developing a BOL in a less bat shit crazy area?

This is the reason for a perennial food forest. And to have some emergency provisions (beans, grains, dehydrated veggies and meats, nuts, seeds) not in the basement.

Any BOL that is not your primary location is a risk. Too many to count, but most can be minimized by having someone you trust live there and keep it maintained while you are still in the blue city. This might even develop into a new career shortly… hmmm

Might also want to stash a couple doubloons out there in the woods somewhere.
