I think Trump exaggerating the amount of blood with the statement, “covered in blood” was more based on his propensity to hyperbole and the amount of shock and trauma to the ear even if only a relatively small section was excised. I would like to see his medical records, but HIPPA applies to him like everyone else. I personally think he is not releasing them is not because he did not sustain some level of wound, but because his not releasing the info does one thing: keeps everyone about HIM. Nobody can stay in the me cycle/news cycle like trump😉
