Anybody see any casings in this video? The camera position is not ideal for capturing them if they’re there.
I am uncomfortable with all the reconstructions of ‘the bullet passed through the body…’.
I am an experienced military trauma Dr (USAF and USN Iraq and Afghanistan) and (relatively short range) centrefire rounds DO NOT pass through the human torso/head as a rule - they shatter and give up all their energy in the target (disclaimer - paradoxically, longer range shots (say >500m) may penetrate more because the bullet lacks the energy to shatter.
Surely if you were aiming to kill Trump, a key goal is to have ALL your bullets energy remain in the first torso hit, ie you chose a polymer tip bullet which has good BC for accuracy, but then good terminal ballistics for delivering energy to the target?
Just this stuff:
That 9v battery puzzles me…random junk placed on the roof to confuse?
We are supposed to be discussing stuff in other threads (we do not want to waste the time of people reconstructing stuff with posts that do not aid in that effort), but before the mods remove this, I would guess that it was for a remote detonator. The device above the battery might be a remote. Removing the battery would make handling the remote safer. The video codec compression removes fine details at this level, so buttons may have been blurred out.
OT violation noted. Sorry. However a previously posted clearer pic of the remote looked like a 9v was too big for that remote. Damn, I wish we could see all the evidence…
That’s a good observation. Thanks for weighing in with with your experience. I have none. Never seen a gunshot wound on a person. Just animals.
It would be nice to know the variables of: caliber, ammo used, (a spent casing would be a good start), distance, and barrel length.
From looking around on the net. It looks like mainly the military issued 5.56 ammo does have a tendency to pass through somtimes. Some of their newer ammo has better results. Sounds like it depends alot on angle of the bullet on impact. Which is an individual rifle/barrel dependent thing? And of course velocity. Which it’s popular to use shorter then 20" barrels these days.
I have found a few more links about it. I don’t have any of thise open at the moment. But this one should work.
[from Epoch Times] Col. Christopher Paris, the commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, testified before members of Congress yesterday, that they recovered 8 bullet casings from the roof where Crooks shot from.
Greetings Dr Chris
I know you have collaborated with Mike Adams to analyze the shots fired during the Trump rally in Butler Pa.
Infowars Owen Shroyer interviewed John Cullen who showed very interesting video coverage & analysis. See link here https://banned.video/watch?id=669a83a214875f4fe15aafc7
Part of Cullen’s analysis is that the first shot was to take out the counter snipers. Other video footage I’ve seen seems to confirm this. View the following link
https://www.instagram.com/p/C9w2L32yabw/?igsh=ZDZjMXZ0cDdmenEw
This might also connect to the claims of witnesses that “they shot the guy that was on the water tower” or claims of shooting from the trees.
Also if the counter snipers USSS were under fire, it may also explain some of the delay to takeout Crooks, as they would have to reposition to focus on Crooks.
I realize my request maybe difficult, but if possible, would be quite revealing.
Request: if the first shot was at the counter snipers, either by distance analysis or sound signatures see if by fitting that shot to the sound file, you can isolate the second shooter with the shot at Trump.
Another video I saw compared the shooting speed to be in pace with a world record holder. Though if it were shots occurring from 2 different guns alternating, it would be more likely.
Thank you for considering my request.
Doug
PS: sometimes I feel like we’re living inside a novel. The perpetrator’s name is “Crooks?” So the criminal, the Crook, is named “Crooks!”

It would be important to know if an order was given to have the sniper on the second floor leave that site to go search for Crooks.
If so, who gave that order?
Picture taken 13 July. The ceiling in the background appears high enough to be in direct line with Trump. There is also a tree in the back which hides any silhouette. So a perfect spot for a “backup” professional with a scope…
Crooks (or the agents who found his remote control detonator after his death) would have taken the battery out to avoid accidental engagement of the detonation switch, which would trigger his bombs.
The problem with the first shot being aimed at the SS snipers on the roof behind the bleacher is that the first shot has also:
- Grazed Trumps ear;
- Continues on and hits the guy in the flag t-shirt in The upper row of the right side bleacher;
- It also may be the shot that killed the fire chief. If it was not the first shot that killed him it was the second or third.
This trajectory implies Crooks killing the deceased, hitting Trump and causing the 2 injuries in the corner bleacher
.
TO THE CULLEN FANS, can we put these theories of his to rest, so we can focus on the facts we know for sure, instead:
- Cullen’s assassin is apparently still standing on the top of the water tower, see the photo then call the police;
2)There are NO trees to climb up and shoot SS snipers from, which were stationed on the high roof just behind the bleachers. The trees are not tall enough. See the same water tower photo below. A shot from the trees would go WAY over the top of the bleacher if it missed the SS snipers;
-
Cullen’s blurry video of a “purse” being shot is unfounded. Another HD video shows she had NO purse. Instead it was just a low resolution SHADOW created under the lady’s elbow. To boot, he sped up the video to make it look like it was shot and was traveling in the direction he claimed was the bullets trajectory which was parallel to the top row of the bleacher;
-
Only two people are injured in the bleachers and we know who they are (the first was the guy in the flag t-shirt hit by the first shot, the second was the fisherman hat guy in a white shirt and black pants who was standing right in front of the flag t-shirt guy). Both are seen being taken down the bleacher right after the shooting by police which I have a link to;
-
Cullen’s claim of a 3rd shooting victim dressed in all white clothing wearing a red hat seen standing on the same top row of the far right bleacher (next to his “purse” lady victim) was also NOT shot! As a result, Cullen has no parallel trajectory going across the top row of the bleacher.
Guy in white shirt/black pants with fisherman’s hat being hit:
Guy in flag shirt being taken away:
Fisherman hat guy being taken away:
No other injuries. No guy in all white is ever seen taken down from the same bleacher.
Second shot hit Trumps ear
Wondering where he got the picture with that sniper from.
Isn’t Chris Martenson a household name in America?
These images may help measure things, since they have the bleachers/stage and the scale in feet:
The overlay may be about 12 feet off, or so. Google Maps itself has some misaligned tiles, and that will have affected how I scaled, rotated, and placed this overlay.
Interesting info from Richard Goldinger, the Butler County DA and person in charge of the county Emergency Services Units. The story did change.
July 24, 12:39 PM CDT
In video interview, Goldinger said neither ESU officers left their post. Also said they “could not see Crooks from their vantage point” at the window.

July 24, 5:43 PM EDT
In a written statement, Goldinger now says ONE of the ESU officers did in fact leave his post to look for Crooks, but returned before shooting began. The other officer never left his post.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/24/us/politics/fbi-director-wray-trump-shooting-hearing.html
Finally, here is a copy/paste from the Fox News report:
In a press release, Goldinger explained that 20 minutes before Thomas Matthew Crooks started firing shots at former President Trump, two local snipers saw the gunman seated outside and took a picture of him before circulating it and passing it along to the Secret Service and Pennsylvania State Police.
The DA said Crooks moved his location to the opposite side of the building, and both local snipers moved within the building to the other side to match the suspicious person’s movements.
While both officers were on the second floor, one ran outside to look for Crooks, Goldinger explained, after spotting the would-be assassin running off with a backpack.
Goldinger told Fox News one sniper remained in the building while the other went outside.
The sniper who went outside could not find Crooks and returned inside. That’s when, according to Golding, both snipers heard the gunfire.
Goldinger told Fox News the entire building was the post for the two snipers and it is a mischaracterization to say otherwise.
He also said if the local snipers had remained at their original location inside the building, they would not have been able to see Crooks. Instead, Goldinger said, they would have needed to lean out of the window to see Crooks.
