The big question in my mind is the diameter of the tube that was pierced. This is a nice high res photo (4K by 3K). The shot hit pretty much right behind that vertical piston (of course it wasn’t behind it in the upright position). It was maybe a foot to the left of that box.
I have to take one of my kids to the dentist, but I’ll try to estimate the diameter of that pipe. It certainly looks like the bullet that pierced it was bigger than a .223 round. That would also explain why two guys that were hit in the abdomen ended up in critical condition. You wouldn’t expect TWO people who were hit in the abdomen to nearly die from a .223 round.
By the way, David Dutch specifically said in a very recent interview that the bullet fragmented, and that fragments (plural) are still in him.

Consider thickness of metal of cylinder and impact point. I have doubts for a standard round or a projectile that is deflected (striking other objects) would have the shape and energy to penetrate curved steel (short of a hit at the perpendicular to quadrant of the arc).
Does this mean that fragments were removed?
Who has these fragments?
Are there x-rays of the fragments that are still in Dutch’s body?

While this a very Good possibility (the vent) you need to “find” out how the interior of that building can that ceiling support weight.
From the sniper perspective, you need concealment and the distraction (even more than one source). Everything is set up for the ONE shot (the first one is most likely going to be the kill shot).
Everything was perfectly set, and by the Grace of God, failed.
If the sniper team in corner of building were not the shooters, then the abandonment of post (dereliction) was part of the plan to allow “crooks” (patsy) to get into position.
As for all the discussion about “other activity” on this thread, some of that could be part of redirection. (to ensure no one stubbles on retreating (real) sniper…(?)

This is the same model of telehandler. As Roger’s chart shows, it’s 8’10" at it’s highest.
With this photo, that’s 1741 pixels. The pipe that was shot is APPROXIMATELY 13 pixels in diameter. I got anywhere from 12 to 14 pixels. Using 13 pixels, that’s about 0.8".
Then using this still from the Stinchfield video, we can estimate the diameter of the bullet hole:
With the diameter of the pipe being 121 pixels or about 0.8" and the bullet hole being approximately 45 pixels, that means the bullet diameter was around .30"
Looks like a .308 Winchester or a .300 WinMag.

Or could it be one of the 300 Blackout Subsonic bullets, similar to the bullet claimed to have been heard very clearly at 18:11:06, by US Marine sniping instructor Clay Martin?
Now I think the bullet didn’t bounce back from aluminum railings - it went through.

It means: two guns, two shooters.
I think that the bleacher railings were galvanized steel, and that a suppressed gunshot bounced off.
Also, David Dutch’s ribs were hit with the balding man’s 2nd of 3 shots, so fragments of copper or lead could still be inside Dutch.

The red circle appears to be a designated protected camera area, I would think this is the place from RSBN. CNN was also somewhere.

This is only part of the post - these are the agents who got suspensions. All of us who have been around here awhile know who they are.
Myotsoty Perez – an inexperienced agent (according to Congressional testimony, which did not name her) who was the “site agent” in charge of the security for the rally. She was part of the regular Donald Trump detail and was not chosen for the big outdoor J13 rally, but simply had her “rotation” come up, according to multiple Secret Service sources.
Meredith Bank – a far more experienced agent out of the Pittsburgh Field Office who was serving as the “lead agent” for the day of the rally – overseeing operations from the time then-candidate Trump arrived at the airport to the final departure. She told Congressional investigators that she informed Perez that her supervisor, Nick Menster, would be asking her where the local law enforcement were to be positioned in/on the AGR building. Menster, however, never specifically asked that question, according to the Congressional transcripts.
Dana Dubrey - a mid-level agent in the Pittsburgh Field Office who served as the “site counterpart.”
Tim Burke – the chief (special agent in charge) of the Pittsburgh Field Office.
Brian Pardini – the No. 2 in charge of the Pittsburgh Field Office.
John Marciniak – the Uniformed Division counter sniper who was assigned to the rally late because of the Iranian threat to Trump’s life. Marciniak had just two days, instead of the customary five, to formulate his security plan.
My two cents - I suspect ALL of the six agents who were supposed to fall on top of Trump. It really looks like they had instructions to not move until Trump hit the ground. And then they made sure that Trump’s head was exposed to the North. Menster had to clarify WHY he pushed Trump’s head toward the front of the stage in his testimony.
I hate to think of what kind of pressure Trump is under - what kind of threats he faced - to have to make Curran head of the Secret Service. Curran, who barely moved until shot 3, and who was caught on video instructing the site agent (Myosoty Perez) WITH 60 SECONDS TO GO to move away from the stage to call and find out what the local police were working at the 3 o’clock.
