So It's Back To First Principles

Came across an interesting article in The Daily Signal by Susan Crabtree (probably it’s the same you reference to from Real Clear Politics)
Trump’s Secret Service Detail Plagued by Disunity, Internal Division (dailysignal.com)

"Curran was one of the agents who quickly used their bodies as human shields to protect Trump in the iconic photo of the assassination attempt showing the former president raising his fist, bloody and defiant, against the backdrop of an American flag.

Trump has repeatedly praised the members in that inner security ring, including Curran and a female agent who also appeared in the photo, placing her body across the president’s torso. The woman has been ridiculed on social media by Elon Musk and many others for being too short to fully shield Trump from additional bullets."

Also interesting
“Burke is a friend of Rowe’s from the time they both served on a counterassault team together early in their careers. Some critics within the Secret Service community question whether their close ties are impacting Rowe’s decision not to fire Burke or anyone else in the Pittsburgh Field Office.”

Thank you. I detest this picture! It is so misleading. That famously long huge blood trail just disappears. I now see, for a couple seconds in the beginning, a trail.

This is what I have been doing. Playing the “spot the differences” game. There are so many. I am putting together images.

@sorey Same article, and I use it in my detailed assessment of the advance team ID that I just finished.

Here is the same in PDF version.

I have also updated my Recognition Tools accordingly, adding a slide for leadership levels in the protection detail, along with a few other slides in that section.

I have to tell you, I have a grandson named Sawyer, so that’s why my mind keeps making me misspell your username. Your username makes me think of him. Seriously. Or maybe I’m developing dyslexia. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

Because I did not remember what Burke’s role in that drama was, I had to read this lengthy article so full of gossip while providing so little real information, except the following:

But these same sources argue that the system that simply rotated the site agent role and didn’t require protective experience for the lead agent set both up for failure. The top supervisors who had to sign off on the security plan for the Butler rally are Tim Burke, special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Pittsburgh Field Office, and Nick Menster, assistant special agent in charge of the Trump detail.

This might help you with remembering roles in the future. It’s one of the reasons I put it together.

You’re welcome, and thanks for your help,

That’s great then!
I don’t mind you’re misspelling, it’s just I don’t get the notification and might miss your post.

Great. Maybe it can help us find him.

Unsure of it’s significance or if this is the same guy, yet interesting to find a hit on DHS right out the gate.

Here’s an interesting video from US Secret Service Special Agent Chris Morgan, on the importance and role of a site agent.

USSS LinkedIn posts even document their coverage of the DNC, and yet what is completely missing? Any single reference to the J13 assassination attempt, whatsoever, no released documentation, no hearings, no anything.

Miosoty Perez | Honor Society - Official Honor Society® Website
Unsure again if this is the same, though it is a direct spelling hit(Edit: retrospectively not a direct hit), spelling seems to be an area we are lacking in. Miosoty seems to have a number of alternate spellings, as I’m sure a lot of our names have, so tracking a legitimate hit more difficult.

 Caught that typo again, figured a dyslexia related issue, or maybe glasses or fatfingering keys, and yet I can totally see the Sawyer/sorey coincidence being a factor!

Personally I see a closer resemblance to the guy casually walking with Brain Pardini. The other gentleman in my opinion matches better with the other bald guy in the advance site team.

Hmm? Would they put someone from DHS in charge of Trump’s protection detail? Maybe he hasn’t updated his LinkedIn profile. I’ll keep that tucked away.

Yes, that’s a tough call for me on the guy with Pardini being Tim Burke. 1. He looks older than 48, and 2. per the Daily Mail Burke wasn’t at the rally.

As for the Protective Detail guy being the advance guy, that’s an almost definite match. I’m wondering if he might be Nicholas Menster. He does appear to be more of a leader than a regular special agent by his actions.
