I have never seen that casing getting ejected…
I have watched this clip many times, both the “original” and the stabilised version, and I simply do not see anything being ejected…
I do see what you mean with the coperish colored thingie in this animated gif, but that does not really match the ejection flight patterns I see when people fire an AR-15 style rifle…
I really think that this animated gif has been made using finetuned frames…
Of course, if the source video (or at least the source video released by TMZ) already was doctored then you could be right.
Would be great we could get hands on Mike DiFrischa’s original.
Found the guys full video, unfortunately it also has the breaks and comments. But some good insights in the rally organisation and the shooting aftermath situation in the crowd.
nice mock-up again
I know I’m picky now, but shouldn’t the rifle be slightly more to the left? To me it looked like the stock sited in his shoulder. Would also a bit better fit the proportions of his hand grabbing the handle.
so, given this image, I scaled the evidence photo from the fast buriers of information, keeping the exact aspect ratios and overlayed it over the contour of what we see in the above image to get the following:
BigTim and SgtRaven then suggested to make a similar version but with the position they were trained to hold their AR-15 rifles while on active duty, which gave this:
and that would mean that he had shortened the stock as it would be impossible to shoot in the position they were trained to hold their weapon, which led to this:
Great video! You know how valuable video footag from before the shooting can be. In this one, it appears to me that it was mostly Secret Service police manning the magnitrometers versus HSI or whatever agency the allegedly pull manpower from. Anyways, I’ll use this in my Research Tool instead. Thanks for sharing it.
Just watching the testimonies beside.
Interesting, Lenz in his opening statement: “In fact my wife was one of the paramedics embedded with our team at the rally and she provided treatment to those that had been shot”
Combing through more cam footage, I found this fella again:
On Paul Kuss’s cam as he’s transporting witnesses.
A pretty sure match for our 117 bodycam.
He makes a few other appearances in the video, but apparently is a master of hiding his name patch when on bwc! (Imagine that!) Had a very hard time trying to sharpen his appearances enough to make out his name patch, but Paul addresses him as Max when asking if he has paper, leading me here:
