And all they filmed inside the building was the inside of the room they were in, which wasn’t even one of the rooms Nicol or Murcko were in.
Nope, you can look up my Protocol of the last 3.5 minutes, there you’ll see that the Trooper comes in slightly (~2s) before Collins.
the Trooper’s dashcam isn’t filming sideways, therefore Collins car isn’t visible in the footage.
Best is you watch BWC2-122111, there you can see the Trooper’s and Collin’s car coming in.
Just in case you weren’t aware of, available to order since yesterday
When found the AR15’s stock was extended
Somehow your pic looks flipped or mirrored.
This is the best capture of the rifle I could find in the bodycam material
From all the evidence including circumstantial we have collected and the reasonable deductions arrived at, plus the USSS or FBI saying he had moved his car closer to AGR & left to get his backpack around 5:50 ish. This is the perfect spot to park the car; for access or… a quick getaway.
I’d rather buy used toilet paper.
Can you share the source for this? I don’t recall seeing that anywhere and would like to know the full context. Thanks.
You have the nose/charging handle in the wrong place on the rifle. It is at the back end of the receiver.
I picked this pic because the red charging handle makes it stand out.
ok. thanks for pointing this out.
I got the red ejection port from Guntec (//tacticaltransition.com/product/ar-15-ejection-port-dust-cover-assembly-gen-3-anodized-red) and placed it over the evidence photo to come to this:
by using a red ejection port it is easier to assess whether the animated gif shows an ejected casing or not…
I will overlay the image with the shortened stock over the crooks photo in a position similar to the image from the site you mention:
On your pics with NTCH, the nose is too far forward and the CH is straight down from his right eye. Also, just because some of us shoot that way. It does not mean others including Crooks does.
Working gun shows I have watched lots of people pick up an AR and shoulder it. Lots of them place their head further back than I do.
NTCH & AR-15 is a good way to start an argument on a gun forum. There are strong opinions for and against that shooting style.
Deputy Director Abbate (01:19:34)
We have video that was recently found of the shooter walking in a distance from his car just before 6:00 PM, about 5:56, I believe.
(01:20:17)
And based on everything we have, we assessed that he returned to his vehicle at that time, got the backpack, and then proceeded back to the area, into the AGR building. And then he’s observed, of course, on the roof just minutes later holding the backpack in front of him. In fact, there’s dashcam footage from a police vehicle that shows him briefly traversing the roof with the backpack in front of him.
I read somewhere that they reckoned he moved his car closer from Sheetz but cant recall where.
Thanks… That’s the part I was curious about, him relocating his car. I knew of the rest of the testimony.
starting an argument on a (gun) forum is the last thing I would do
so, what we are trying to sort out is the following:
- @sorey believes that a shell casing is ejected from the rifle crooks used on the roof
- I have never seen such a casing being ejected from the footage that has been made available
- so, I asked to get the images from which Sorey created an animated gif to add a representative rifle to them, and
- in order to make it easier to figure out where the casing should get ejected from, I browsed for a colourful ejection port, and I overlayed this over the evidence picture of the rifle
- given the photo from Mike DiFrischia (cfr. below), we know how crooks held the rifle on the roof, and that is a suboptimal grip, as you and BigTim have pointed out a couple of weeks ago
- so, Sorey asked to produce a version where he held the rifle in a position that would match a more professional grip than the non-shouldered version, and as BigTim suggested at that time the nose on charging handle position, I planned to go for this position for these images
- I will go for the position similar to the one of the image above in my previous post giving his nose some more space compared to previous versions
thanks for your feedback!
where I live, civilians can only get a license to practice with/own pistols, revolvers, shotguns, riot guns and non-assault rifles, which is why I have no hands-on experience with AR-15-style and AK-47-style rifles and similar…
ps: the photo from Mike DiFrischia:
this image gives the contours of the rifle as he held it on the roof, and the overlay with the evidence photo gives this:
and with the more colourful ejection port, this comes to:
the first observation we can make is very straightforward: should crooks have shot from that position, he would have shot into the roof of AGR building 6, which does not make sense: he died in roof lane 20, and as you can see in the following image, the edge of the roof top is much higher than the vertical ribs separating each roof lane:
so, that means that crooks cannot have fired any rounds from that position on the roof, as the muzzle clearly points towards a point below the edge of the roof top…
this is the view he would have had from roof lane 20:
note that there are scratches on top of the roof line, but no obvious bullet holes in either direction…
People will post all kinds of stuff, even vile things online. Stuff most would never say to someones face. What ever opinion your have, you can find someone with the opposite opinion online.
He’s over the ridge cap on the 1st 3 shots. That’s how I suspect the 3 casings landed on the south side of it.
What’s the final determination on the height of Trump’s ear? I know we kicked around various specs for the bleacher and stage height.
