So It's Back To First Principles

For those interested in the two undercover cops, these entries are from the USSS-HSGAC Interim Report Timeline. Are these different undercover cops?

5:47 pm
The PSP Trooper who had been told about the suspicious person around 5:44 pm then called two undercover PSP Troopers stationed at the Sheetz gas station and gave them a description of the suspicious person and told them to go to the AGR building to look for him. (415)

6:04 pm
The PSP Trooper (who had previously directed the two undercover Troopers to look for the suspicious person at 5:47 pm) then sent the two undercover Troopers the photograph of Crooks. (425) The Butler County Sheriff’s Deputy then radioed on the Sheriff’s Office radio channel that the suspicious person “is headed towards Sheetz.” (426)

Edit: “ATF told the Committee that there was an ATF agent present in his personal capacity at the Butler rally on July 13 but that ATF as an agency had no official presence at the rally and did not provide any security assistance before shots were fired. 30 The committee has yet to speak with the ATF agent who was at the rally.”

Here are the latest revisions of the investigation tools I’m maintaining. Since it appears @rawroku is no longer active in the forum, I decided to take up where he left off with his comprehensive timeline. His last update was 9/2/2024, so I have a lot of catching up to do with the updates and reports that have been released since then.

Many times there are flipped pictures, dunnowhy.

From a Greg Smith video, when Trump takes the stage. Didn’t analyse it in Detail but captured somewhen between 18:02 and 18:05

Remarks:
0. You can ignore my comments.

  1. I investigate only technical issues.
  2. But thre are human mistakes related many times.
  3. I usually don’t evaluate the whole system on a failure.
  4. I try to figure out some key questions to solve a problem.
  5. There might be more than one problem at a time.

(Let me tell you an example. The computer has printed numbers. Is it enough to know? Of coures it would be wors if nothing have been printed. But I have to check those printed numbers too. (Actually a handheld device should have printed 6 numbers, but the 6th was mess.))

Greg looked out of the window. Which window? The assumption is the window he was assigned to. Um. No need to answe if there is no question. Literaly: “don’t need to report until we have something to report”

He would needed a Kojak lollipop.

Someone should clarify, which window, which direction Greg looked out of, which door he went out. Did Murco let him in, which door?

By the way, the timing is perfect. If Collins arrives 2 minutes earlier, he could stop the shooter. But if he arrives two minutes later, the shooter had not been disturbed.

(Assume I go to rob a bank. I walk in front of the main entrance, show the security guard that I have a ski mask. Then I walk away, come back again. Then the front door guard calls the backdoor guard to check me. Meanwhile I go to the backdoor, wich was actually left open unguarded. I walk in and find the safe is also open. This would be unbeleivable.)

yes, if he fired the first 3 rounds, he must have been over the ridge cap, and that is NOT the position from where the alleged ejection of the shell casing “from his first shot” can be seen…

you may recall that I mentioned in a previous post that there must have been a reason why they blurred part of the muzzle stock of crooks’ rifle in the following photo:

given the source photos of the animated gif I got from @sorey, we now know why they blurred/cut that part of the photo: it is IMPOSSIBLE that he fired any rounds from that position for the very simple reason that he would shoot into the roof, even below the ridge cap:

  1. this is the first frame from Sorey’s gif:
  2. this is what they selected and showed:

so, the white part and the blurry part left of it are not shown, but if we overlay the evidence photo over the contour of the rifle from the image shown in 1., you can clearly see that the muzzle would fire straight into the roof, UNDER the ridge cap
  3. still the same frame, but highlighting the location of the ejection port by means of a red overlayed version at the exact position and 1:1 ratio:
  4. this is the first frame with the alleged shell casing:
  5. it is hard to see, but this is where believers see it:
  6. if you compare this frame with the first frame, you can clearly see that the arrow of the second frame points at something that is not present in the first frame:

the left top corner shows the frame number, and it is clear that the first frame does not show the thing that is present in the second frame, and that thing is near a location that could make sense if it were ejected from the red ejection port
  7. so, in the first frame, there is no “ejected” shell casing to be seen; it appears in the second frame, it is gone in the third frame, another lighter spot appears in the fourth frame, and that same spot remains at the same place in the fifth and subsequent frames. in the following frames, the orange arrows indicate that “something will appear there in the next frame”, the yellow arrow indicates “that something”, and a redish arrow points at “something that was there in the previous frame”:

neither Sorey nor myself have modified any of the images, they come straight from the TMZ video.
the only thing I did was shift and resize (keeping the aspect ratio) each frame such that subsequent frames have the same reference points:

  • the position of crooks’ left shoe
  • the strange thing on the left with the blueish top
  • the diagonal roof line
  • the vertical line of the rightmost wall panel

and what turns out?

  • crooks’ shoulder does not show any sign of recoil absorption
  • some of the subsequent frames have been stretched such that the vertical wall panels are a bit wider or smaller between frames

by stretching or shrinking the image making the vertical wall panels wider or smaller, you get the impression of recoil and dynamicity of crooks’ body, even though he remains reasonably stationary in these frames…

the individual frames with the anchor points are the following:

if you save these images on your computer and move back and forth between them, you will see that the images are all very well aligned, and you will see that there is no shell casing that gets ejected from that rifle…

your encyclopaedic knowledge of Columbo episodes is really impressive!

There are a bunch of transcribed interviews associated with the HSGAC interim report. I put them here for safekeeping. I think they’re all interviews of USSS people as opposed to local LEO, which I find disappointing, but they might still be useful for lead farming.

Edit: note also, these documents are highly unredactable because the redactions occur over text where we can anchor our guesses.

Ugh! I know what happened there. I ended up with a corrupted file that wouldn’t save with photos and had to go one rev back to go one rev forward and missed a previous correction…I think anyways. Thank for catching it.

Hercules-2-Counter-Sniper_Redacted.pdf, page 114:

Q: I just want to be clear for the record, did you relay any of your sight limitations to anyone on Hercules 1?
A: No, because it was assumed that the team lead on Hercules 1 already made his way to my post and it’s why he picked it, and then provided the countermeasures or coordinated with the local units to secure the AGR building.

 Team lead on H1 chose H2’s spot, and then “coordinated with local units to secure AGR”, and then was in the right spot to shoot Crooks?

as we know that the podium is a square, we can determine the height of the podium fairly accurately, and we can also determine the ground level at the corner near the arrow:

the yellow rectangle is in powerpoint 9.97 x 2.42 cm

given the layout of the scheme roger and I discussed the week before he “suddenly” “disappeared”, the podium is about 15.8 ft = 4.81 m wide:

so, this leads to a podium height of 15.8/9.97*2.42 = 3.83 ft = 1.17m

and when we round these numbers, that would lead to something like 3.75 ft = 1.14 m, 3.8 ft = 1.16 m, 3.94 ft = 1.2 m, or 4 ft = 1.22 m.

the elevation above sea level at that corner is about 1338.525 ft:

in my model, I use 1m86 = 6.1 ft as Trump’s length, 1.2m for the podium, 2.5cm for his shoes, and an offset of -7cm for the top of his ear, which leads to an offset from the ground level of 1.86+1.2+.025-.07 = 3.015 m = 9.89 ft

there is no officially confirmed length of Trump’s height. there are 3 medical reports, each mentioning different values. the value I use is the average of the 3 values from the medical reports.

roger used 6.08333 ft as Trump’s height and decreases it by 0.1666 ft = 2 inches for Trumps “posture/knee slightly bent”, which comes to 6.08333-.1666 = 5.92 ft = 1.80 m for Trump’s total length, but that seems to be too low if you would ask me…

in roger’s last 3d model update (version 7), he used 11.62367 ft = 3.54 m as Trump’s offset from the ground level of AGR building 6:
roger.3d.cad.model.version.7

if we want to compare apples to apples, we have to subtract the offset between the ground levels between AGR building 6 and the stage of 1.957 ft, which results in 11.62367-1.957 = 9.66667 ft = 2.95 m.

so,

  • roger’s estimate of Trump’s ear height from the ground level of the stage is 9.66667 ft = 2.95 m (keep in mind that this value is somehow to the lower end of the spectrum  ), and
  • my estimate is 9.89 ft = 3.015 m,
  • which is 0.22333 ft = 2.68 in = 6.8 cm difference.

as a side note: did you also notice that much more progress has been made, and forum members collaborate much more fruitfully and joyfully since roger went silent?

if he kept the gun at eye-scope height, it would have looked like something along the following lines:

note that he would still shoot through the roof if that was his shooting position…

it is really impossible that he fired any shots towards the rally area from that position, as the ridge line is even higher than the vertical separations between each roof lane:

That’s the lamp on the east side of the AGR6 building

Thanks for giving your insight and analysis on the issue, very thorough work.

I took your pics with the lines and made another gif. Somehow I still see a casing flying/spinning to the west (towards the guy filming). It first ascends, spins 2 or 3 times on its peak height and then dropping down to the roof. Making kind of a bow line. Max height level with the top end of the first bunch of tree leaves in the background.
gif shot 1

Please Note: the screenshots are taken on different times (~27m between), therefore the shadelines are not the same.
Here is where the casings on the northern part of the roof were positioned. Since it’s a hard roof and there’s the lane separators, the casings may have bounced back going funny directions. There’s also a possibility that somebody on the roof (willingly or unwillingly) had influence on the positions of the casings in the time before these screenshots were taken.

Here are some AR15 SloMo videos of casing ejections. I know not the very same type but as a comparison it may help.
This would be somewhat of a similar angle Mike DiFrischa was filming

He’s holding the rifle quite sideways, but look how big the spread of the ejected casings is.

I’m just trying to figure it out and kind of painting in the part of his bodyline that is not to see. Let’s see where I end up.

Do you by chance know these measurements?
