so, there are several frames during which we would expect a real shell casing to fly and tumble around, and each of these positions is further away from the ejection port, i.e., none of the positions is stationary or at a previous position…
Something we have to take into account is the frame rate the video was taken. Do you happen to know what was the frame rate of the video you took the screenshots from?
The one I took my screenshots for the gif from was filmed at 29,94 frames per second.
Also the distance the Mike DiFrischa video was taken from has an effect and he zoomed in quite heavily I’d assume.
That would mean only every 2nd screenshot that you showed would have been captured with a frame rate of 29.94 (5 vs 10 frames in which the casing is to see)
And again I learned something. Didn’t know that you can go back/forward framewise in YT with , and . so thanks for sharing that info.
I quickly checked. Your 1080p60 is 60 frames per second, so when filming every 16,666…ms 1 picture is taken. After 60 clicks 1 second has passed.
The TMZ video is only 30 frames per second (precisely it’s 29.94), so when filming every 33,333…ms 1 picture is taken. After 30 clicks 1 second has passed.
Bottom line: you wouldn’t see the same degree of detail in the TMZ video as in your YT video. If DiFrischa had filmed in 60 fps, the path of - what I believe - the casing could be seen much clearer.
That makes me doubt if the BWC2-122104 guy is Zaliponi.
First bc of the different outfit/sun glasses and 2nd bc it’s just impossible he can be over at AGR parking with the others who pulling up in the UTV at 18:13:20
Also in Pearsons bodycam he can be seen the whole time from the shot 9 until him moving towards the fence corner that they later try to ram with a car. Real time is 18:12:38
There is a rally goer “Ramming Gate” and “Bust Gate” video linked in the Research Tool. Have you looked through those for him? They’re probably closer than Pearson’s bodycam.
I’m currently doing a deep dive on USSS personnel, now having the HSGAC report to shed light on what we had already done to try and ID some of them.
Edit: I just realized those are both the same video.
So, he decided the gate was locked and turned around. If that’s him by the red tractor, I wonder what he’s doing? Maybe just taking a moment to process thoughts.
This is him coming from the red tractor/bleachers, seems like he’s waving/signaling for help towards the people in the barn. He probably noticed that somebody (Corey) got shot.
Must watch in the Pearson video, super funny scene between timestamp 18:14:32 and 18:14:55.
The guy with the black tactical ladder (I think that’s Slack) is running along. Something, what I believe is a flashlight, falls out of his pocket. Zaliponi recognises it and walks over. Waits a little bit looking left, looking right. As soon as he feels comfortable, he bends down and picks up the item. Walks away and puts it in his left pocket.
Maybe we should ask Slack if he’s still missing a flashlight.
Also seems like Lt. Herold was in there too, the watches look quite the same, also his general posture and behaviour. Different hut than the regular Troopers as well.
Could this be Denny Crawford, cheek and nose look similar. Gianvito bodycam timestamp 18:27:29. Also sounds like Gianvito calling him Crawf a little bit before at 18:27:17. On the other hand, in the Detail he’s listed as Butler ESU.
