I was thinking of you and your call sign list as I was reading through the radio checks in the first section. :+1:

Oh, goodie! I wasn’t thinking about how many new people we might need to add the recognition tool.

I will add the key players, for sure, so thanks for the above. I’m particularly interested in which Sheriff’s Sergeant was in the BuC command post with Lenz. Do you think that might be Sgt. Sawl?

I don’t plan to add all the patrolmen. I’ve got to sleep and eat sometime.

Understandable, you’ve gotta draw the line somewhere! This Sgt. Sawl, judging by the sounds of his transmissions, may very well be in the command post:

What would BT units possibly be?

Do you happen to have a link to your call sign list? Would love to check that out too! I tried looking under the investigative tools and can’t seem to find it. Maybe I’m missing it? Or is it a private list? No worries if so.

Thank you!

I’ll put him down for it for now, unconfirmed.

BT = Butler Township as far as I’ve seen it used.

Edit: yeah thank you, realized at almost the exact same time as you posted!

Murcko referencing a 4S4 callsign, I believe Nicol is supposedly 4S2, Woods 4S1. Is this perhaps just a mistaken callsign referenced or do we have up to 4 BeC snipers on duty?

I saw that and didn’t spend much time thinking it through, but it could be a confusion with the county code 4 in his use of it, or the AAR had a typo or misidentification of Nicol’s code. However, we’ve got these to go by too:

Unfortunately, they don’t help much, and Nicol isn’t very talkative on the radio.

He certainly is not, despite all that is going on around him and all that he is doing. I wonder what of his transmissions have been redacted?

I posit that Murcko could have mixed up callsigns when referring to Nicol here. He knows his own callsign as 10S3, Wagner’s as 10S1, probably assumed Woods to be 4S2, and therefore Nicol to be 4S4, and probably assumes Shaffer of WRSWAT to be 63S5. Then we have the separate callsign designations by BeC, demonstrated by them not being listed on the detail report, of 4S1 and 4S2. WRSWAT callsigns appear to be 63- followed by their last name. “63McCarthy”

I’m guessing 68 is a reference to this:

Rt. 68, E. Jefferson St., leading to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Timestamp 17:06:07, they were shutting it down to anything but emergency traffic. Telling? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Edit: Ok, so even Evan’s City Road is considered part of Rt. 68:

Meridian Rd, north of Pinecrest:

Also, @vegaspatriot, if you don’t mind sharing, what’s your take as to which SS actors would have been on corresponding SS channels Baker/Mike/Romeo?

I don’t know that I’ve got it exact, but here’s where I was at last/

Keep in mind that post-standers were put on a different frequency after they had bleed over from the First Lady’s site. Tango fits, but I haven’t confirmed that.

“SSA Dubrey: Around I want to say around 4:30 p.m., I received a phone call from my supervisor saying that there was some kind of bleed over. They were hearing bleed over on the radio and that yeah, the post standards were to switched to Channel.” (Site Counterpart Transcript, Pg. 46-47)”

Here is a new and revised BuC Radio Communications Timeline PDF, with slide hyperlinks. I’m still missing what may be a single segment of that timeline. Please consider this a “BOLO” for that segment.

So he arrived from south and his task might be traffic control.

Oooops, he turned the blue-red flashing lights on.
