Admittedly, I am inclined to lean towards a lone gunman theory, as in I believe all 8 shots came from the patsy on the roof of the AGR. I do not see evidence pointing to shots fired from a second location, aside from two shots fired in return.
Does this statement apply to all recordings? What about things that would vary from recording to recording? For example, all of our cell phone recordings are made with different equipment with likely differing recording capabilities/quality. Also, the audio from these cell recordings is going to be directly impacted by direction and motion, and even hand placement on the device. I would think for analysis, recordings made by stationary devices would be more reliable, such as the podium mic or dashcam M500-010482.
I’m listening to a loop of the 8 shots as I’m typing this. VLC again, spotlight useful feature the A-B looper. They all sound the same to me, and I would love to see the analysis on this recording, as the recording conditions across all 8 shots are the same. I’m sure it probably exists in the trove of audio analyses across this forum.
I disagree with this, I don’t believe their statements indicate that shots went by them as of the first shots (“started being fired”), to clarify by first shots I mean the first 3, and I feel that their wording indicates the shots near them came from the second rapid-fire volley.
Which one? A photo of it would be nice, and if I were to guess we would go back to the Dutch/Copenhaver interview that we get some clips of, unless you know of another source? If I get a chance, I’ll try to head back to that video and see what screens I can get. And then we would need the context of his positioning upon impact in order to tell if they are incompatible. As I recall, you were under the impression they were facing a certain way upon the first shot, but again it was not the first shot that hit either of them, so we would then need to know how they moved in reaction to shot 1.

This all being said, while I believe him to be the lone gunman, as in lone shooter, that does not mean I believe him to have necessarily acted of his own volition. A MIHOP does not absolutely need to have a second shooter for it to be a conspiracy, and the amount of planning that would have been involved in this, the prep work, the training, and what almost seems like beforehand knowledge of specific situational vulnerabilities, make it very hard to not air on the side of conspiracy. Even still, conspiracy does not have to include law enforcement on any level, and there are many a party out there that want the Don removed. Coupled with the fact that so very little has been shared about the patsy, his contacts or messaging history, I don’t think we can fully remove in-organizational conspiracy from the table, but we absolutely cannot remove out-of-organizational non-LEO conspiracy either.
Something of a thought to consider, what could his potential plan of action had been if his first shot struck home? I wouldn’t expect him to have just sat there waiting to be killed, he would have had to have some form of exit plan.
Which it very well may be! Here we have the whole spotlight on all the LEO and protection agencies, their shortcomings and oversights, yet again so very little released in terms of information about Crooks. Of course, law enforcement is human, and they all had their weaknesses and shortcomings going into this, but it is almost alarming how all of the focus is on them and none of it on the kid or his contacts. Understandably, yes they fell short, so they must be scrutinized, but quo bono? To whom would that benefit? Certainly not the dead guy.
