So It's Back To First Principles

Which video source is this clip from?

The information about the visible muzzle flash is at least 2 months old.

Oh yeah I don’t think anybody has done a video quite like Evan’s. That’s manual stabilisation. Frame by frame. The man is putting in the work

This is perhaps the first mention of it:

Agree, Chris. You know video too, so I trust you can recognize the high quality work he has done.

Naw, thanks. I had a feeling, but it also helps that he told me!

I’m not inclined to put much energy into this - I’m doing it as a pro forma response, since people have their minds made up by this point.

The NBC video should be easily available, but make sure it’s the one that’s 2 minutes and 49 seconds. There are other videos out there that show longer segments of Mr. Dutch and Mr. Copenhaver being shot. Exactly which shots impact which men has been debated. But I’m pretty sure a scar that long could only mean the bullet came front to back or back to front and did not go deeply into his tissue.

As far as the recordings from the dash cam, those are very suspect, as they seem cloned. The great majority of the recordings show a clear qualitative difference between shots 1-3 and shots 4-8. The recordings that were broadcast live are most unimpeachable, and other recordings are valuable to the extent they don’t contradict the ones that were broadcast live or which had a clear chain of custody.

JFK’s head famously snapped “back and to the left” as seen on the Zapruder film, which is a problem for people who think that Oswald was the lone gunman, or who think he fired the lethal shot. This is because Oswald was behind Kennedy, and heads that are impacted by bullets will NOT snap toward the bullet.

The powers that be tried to hide this inconvenient film, and did so successfully for 12 years. Dan Rather very likely was promised a bright future in exchange for saying the film showed Kennedy’s head moving forward. After the film came out, the government got Nobel prize winner Luis Alvarez to try to convince the public that heads could move toward the origin of a bullet. He sort of succeeded - with melons. Of course, melons don’t have skulls inside of them - a fatal flaw. A bullet can pass through a melon while transferring very little energy to the melon. That’s NOT true for a head with a skull in it. You can bet he tried to do demonstrations with animal heads or similar, but had no success.

At that point, the government (CIA) just gave up, and just figures the damage is done, and keeps trying to keep the remaining classified records classified. President elect Trump vowed to unseal all the remaining records when he got RFK Jr.'s endorsement this summer - a potentially dangerous move.

Anyway, I’m curious - how many of you lone gunman people for the Butler rally also think Oswald acted alone? That backward head snap is only evidence piece #1 of well over 1000 things that just don’t add up, but with the Zapruder film, it’s indisputable.

Great post. I’m skeptical that this rules out a shot from AGR, like some have been saying. We’d need to establish

  • which shot hit his arm
  • which angle his arm was at to the AGR at that time

Though he obviously moved it in a way that looks like it could have been hit during the first volley, I would guess it was the second, which seems more compatible with a shot from AGR given the angle he moves to by then. Worth looking into. I don’t know what the mood is among most here but I am currently team 8 shots from the AGR roof

One thing that has not been much explored, much less explained, is why Crooks had the remote detonator in his pocket on the roof. To me this suggests that he had some kind of exit/survival plan and was not on a suicide mission. If he was a lone gunman, however, how could he expect to outwit all the law enforcement in the area even if did detonate some bombs as distraction? It seems to me that he could only have hoped to survive the whole situation if he had some other well-placed accomplices who assured him of their assistance. In which case he would have been the lone gunman, but not the only conspirator.

I’ve got Deps. Newman in the next revision. Do you have a rally image for him? Thanks.

I don’t as of yet, I believe we only learned of him through radio traffic and I haven’t yet found him on site. This photo above though is Sgt Mikus though, not Newman. I know I posted the two together, but Newman is actually the other gentleman. If I do happen to find him on site day-of, I will certainly let you know!

This post has an image of him with his K9 and with name visible:

Got it, thanks! At first I thought that side by side was a field photo and department photo. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Edit: I just read through the post. Interesting, but not surprising, comment regarding K9 handler and dog training cost.

Evan Coons is very observant of details and extremely talented. He stabilized this spectator footage and discovered you can visually see the smoke coming out of the barrel during this shot. This footage also confirms that Patsy fired his weapon.

What shot is it and where was the owner of the phone?

I suppose it’s one of the first three shots and I suppose the owner of the smartphone was on the ground. So how to explain that the CS on south barn roof with his scope wasn’t able to shoot him at this moment instead of waiting 14 seconds which is very very long time for a sniper with the risk that he would flatten himself on the roof after those three shots and no longer be visible?

Thank you
If I suppose video and audio are synchronized Crooks head is visible between 13.78 s and 14.23 s and again between 15.17 s and 15.50 s and shot 2 crack is at 12.75 s and boom at 12.94 s. Shot 3 crack at 14.29 s and boom at 14.46 s.
I think that the spectator is on the upper left of the central bleachers at about 2 raws from the top. This position matches with the video and with the time difference between crack and boom of shot 1.
So he is lower than CS who has a better view.
