This was for the state election in March, not the federal. 6 will be elected for the federal election.
I think these posts make a very good point about “the elephant in the room”!
We are even coming to a point in the US (recent legislation) that no one is allowed to criticize Israel (as valid or deserved as criticism may be) without it being construed as “hate speech”. Raising these questions in Europe can have one put in jail.
And Canada’s “hate speech” laws are more restrictive than the US: Thus Peterson’s precautions being a Canadian citizen and saying, in this video that he can’t answer the “Jewish question”. (I.E. Which “hill” is one willing to “die on”?)
Contemplate the trial of Ernst Zundel for a moment. Zundel’s defense was presented in the context of “show me forensic evidence that gas chambers were used to genocide people in labor camps in Germany during WWII.”
And Zundel’s lawyers (and gas chamber experts) were correct. The narrative of how Germany allegedly “holocaust”(ed) “6 million Jews” is not supported by any forensic evidence. There were fumigation chambers used in the camps for killing lice that did use Zyklon B as the gassing agent for insects. But no one has ever claimed those fumigation facilities were used to gas humans as part of the “6 million holocaust” narrative.
There are many problems with the “6 million holocaust” narrative. (Mathematical possibility is a major one. Given the number of camps and cremation facilities in Germany between 1935 and 1945 it would have been mathematically impossible to kill and cremate 6 million people.)
For anyone who wants to dive down this rabbit hole:
Matter of fact: the “6 million Jews” and “holocaust” language had been flying around newspapers since the 1890’s.
This narrative had been seen in the entertainment industry even before Hitler came to power in 1933. Charlie Chaplin’s parody movie “The Great Dictator”; the script was completed by the autumn of 1938 and the movie premiered in NY on October 15, 1940.
There also was another (German) movie (containing the “camp genocide theme”) that came out in 1927 entitled “Metropolitan”. That movie has some… interesting history to it as the “concentration camp narrative” parts had been cut from the movie. Although about 20 years ago now, the lost parts had again been found (probably in some Hollywood archive).
The people who’d found the missing parts of “Metropolitan” wanted to splice the movie back together; but ironically found themselves in a court battle over being able to do so. The movie was already in the public domain; so… why would anyone be suing the editors over their desire to put the missing pieces back in?
The plot thickens…
(Back to Zundel’s trial though; “ironically” people who were institutionalized in asylums and facilities for the developmentally disabled in Germany; were deliberately euthanized! The German institutions did maintain THOSE records!
(Much like the elderly people in nursing home facilities in both Britain and parts of the US during the Covid lockdowns… were… in no more “polite” terms; deliberately euthanized! There are records of their deaths and why things unfolded the way they did!)
Now is Peterson a “turn coat” in relation to morals and ethics about how certain sociopaths within any societies or nations; are to be pointed out for their use of any given opportunity to display their sadistic and sociopathic natures?
Peterson did state these personalities can be observed on both the right and left of politics. And thus why I believe he made the statement of not collapsing the political events upon the cultural and sociopathic individuals of a given group.
Granted, the “political questions” get far stickier the further down the rabbit holes of history one may go; but that is a different issue than the current sociopaths running nations. (I too believe that Netanyahu falls into that category.) Thus one could also take Peterson’s comments as a “double edged sword that cuts both ways”; regarding both the behavior of Israel’s politicians as well as Hamas!
And the point that SHOULD be taken from Peterson’s comments is obviously not all Jews agree with what Israel is doing any more than all Arabs agree with Hamas!
And this is what I take away from Peterson’s comments.
“Actual experts being wrong is not what diminished trust.” Where’s the data to support this claim? THIS is a baseless claim created in the echo chamber of those same “experts.”
The minute details, stats and numbers are not important for me. The Holocaust happened. What is important to me is that the lessons of why it happened and how and by whom. The why needs to include the parameters and variables related to the human experience, culture politics and economics that might be once again playing out.
I fear that all the name calling and mudslinging using “Nazi” and “Antisemite” have a net result of desensitizing people to the real potential of similar events actually being possible today in Western nations. I feel like this is especially true in an environment where it seems like some someones behind the curtains are wanting the populus divided and weak.
I think of you look back through history this happens again and again. There are lots of biblical stories of group A killing/enslaving group B. This goes on in Africa, Native Americans had raiding parties, the Holodomore, Maos China, today’s drug cartels. People fighting over resources do horrific things to each other.
Sadly this just seems to be how humans treat each other. The thing that was different about the holocaust is we have built this “never again” narrative around it. We teach (or at least we used to) Anne Frank and Night and discuss in English and history classes about how awful it was. No one taught me how awful the holodomore was. Heck, I don’t think it was even mentioned.
We may have moved onto Pride Puppy and some other inappropriate literature books because the next group of narratives dictators has taken over.
Yes, you can go on Google Maps and see the devastation by zooming in. Terrible.
That’s so funny. It made me laugh.
The “minute details” are important to Jewish eschatology though. The event is stated as “prophecy”.
The “6 million Jews” / “holocaust” number comes out of a rabbis misinterpretation of a passage in Leviticus. The interpretation being that 6 million “unfaithful” would be a “burnt offering” to “purge” the nation before they could go back into the “promised land”. The word “holocaust” means “burn offering”. (Thus the necessity that “6 million” had to be cremated.)
“6 million” is a number of some form of significance in the religious system.
And because this is a religious eschatology belief system; is why the politics here are what they are. (It’s basically become a ‘pissing contest’ to see who’s god will ‘put on the show’.) Islamic eschatology is very similar to ‘Christian’ Dispensationalism.
Which “holocaust” are you referring to? As more than one other commentator has pointed out; history is full of genocidal acts.
Now if you really want to dive down the WWII rabbit hole; I suggest you look at the Codoh website. There’s a wealth of information on that site written by a variety of people from multiple countries around the world.
I came to the conclusion that what we’ve all been told about WWII, didn’t unfold the way the conventional narrative tells us it did; particularly after encountering the question of forensic evidence for homicidal gas chambers.
There’s a telltale manifestation of Zyklon B. It leaves a permanent blue / purple residue on the walls of the buildings it’s used in. You can tell what buildings were the fumigation chambers because the bricks are all blue tinged. You can still see it today. (80+ years later.) The Zyklon B so permeated the walls of the fumigation chambers that you can see the blue color on the outside of the fumigation buildings.
Yet if you tour a camp; they won’t allow visitors into the fumigation buildings; stating they are “too dangerous”, but you can tour the alleged “gas chambers”. (That allegedly killed 6 million+ people.)

Yes people did die in these camps and criminals were executed in them. (The Reich kept records of all of that.) They kept records of everyone who passed through the gates of the complex of camps. This is how we know who and how many were there. And the German government also issued death certificates for those who died prior to the very end of the war.
According to the Red Cross and the US army’s post war forensic investigation team; they estimate about 250,000 people total died in German camps. And that’s about the same number the Germans had records of themselves.
In the last 6 weeks of WWII though; the allies bombed the crap out of Germany. And everyone in the east was trying to get out of the way of the Soviet army. The Germans told everyone in Auschwitz and its surrounding complex of camps that they two choices.
- Stay and wait for the Soviet army.
- We’ll put you on trains and send you west.
The vast majority of prisoners opted to be sent west. So Germany started evacuating eastern Europe. (Not just the camps though; they were evacuating medical facilities too.)
Dachau was the largest camp in what would be West Germany, so most of the people coming out of camps in Poland were sent there.
After 6 weeks of bombing though, there was no infrastructure left. No food, fuel or medication was getting anywhere. Trains stopped, communication shut down. Typhus set in and particularly people in the camps got sick (being in a confined space with vast numbers of people coming in from other parts of Europe and without an effective way of killing lice; disease set in.
Typhus is a wasting illness. Plus people were getting sick from dirty water too. Thus the piles of dead in the western camps. (Auschwitz did not have piles of dead; because most of the prisoners had been sent west.) The photos of all the piles of the dead were actually dug up and taken by the British, not the Germans!
WWII takes on a whole new meaning when you start to investigate what actually happened; (as opposed to just believing what we were told happened).
There’s another interesting movie called “The Flat”. (I don’t have a free link to that one though.)
It’s a 2012 documentary about a group of adult grandchildren who clean out their grandmother’s apartment in Tel Aviv. As they dig down through the years of grandma’s life; they find a whole bunch of stuff from WWII.
Their grandparents had moved to the Middle East just before the outbreak of the war; on what was called “The Transfer Agreement” in Germany. Jewish families could transfer their land in Germany for land in the Middle East. Although this also applied to other foreign countries as there were a lot of convents and orphanages run by the Roman Catholic Church whose host organizations were in Great Britain. Thus there were a lot of Scottish and Irish “transfers” in Germany too.
The grandparents who’d moved to Tel Aviv in the 1930’s, had German neighbors whom (at least one) son was in the military and I believe these neighbors were members of the National Socialist Party.
And here’s the craziest part of that movie. The German neighbors came and visited them in Tel Aviv DURING THE WAR! (At least once.)
If I’m remembering correctly? I believe the grandparents also had correspondents with people in Auschwitz. (Yes, people got mail from the outside in the camps. Multiple relief agencies sent food and supplies to the camps; and the letters to the outside coming from prisoners in the camps actually document that people received the items sent to them!) This information is in several peoples’ letters that have surfaced, now in museums and such.
Some of the information in these letters included:
Every camp had a soccer team; (which competed against other camps). Soccer teams were divided up by nationality as there were actually POW’s who were housed in some of these camps. Thus there was a British team. And yeah, camp guards even played on teams against prisoner teams. Teams would rank to win stuff for their camp.
Auschwitz also had 6 orchestras, at least two choruses / choirs, two (or three) soccer fields, a movie theater, a swimming pool, an auditorium to put on plays. (They did perform Disney’s “Snow White”.) Prisoners could buy alcohol and tobacco in the camp commissary. And the camp also had its own prisoner run photography studio. Auschwitz was pretty big though and not all camps had that many facilities. All the camps though also had their own camp coinage.
I believe it was Mittelbau / Dora was the “high tech” munitions factory camp. Prisoners with mechanist skills were sent there. And a while back, I’d found a very interesting picture from that camp.
It was two men standing amidst a bunch of bombs. One was in stripped “prisoner pajamas” and the other had a German uniform on. The prisoner was pointing at something; but the most interesting part of the photo was that the prisoner was the one with the rifle slung over his shoulder! I believe the German was an officer. He had a side arm.
Of all the photos of German camps taken during the war. That was the one that blew my mind the most. The prisoner with the rifle in the munitions yard!
Now WWII photos, you have to pay careful attention to because there’s a lot of photo clips out there that claim to be authentic but are actually post war movie clips. One way of knowing if a photo is authentic or not; is anything taken during the war is now in the public domain. So if it has a copyright on it; it’s not an authentic WWII photo.
Anyways;
The WWII rabbit hole I think is one of the most fascinating ones I’ve gone down! And I only discovered this one about the holocaust narrative not being exactly true, about 10 years ago. Prior to that, I’d believed what they taught me in history books.
But now, I’m skeptical of just about everything!
So why else would their incipient bankruptcy and employment bloodbath correspond with the downfall of all other USAID cutouts even though their supposedly on the “winning side”? Maybe you have a better explanation?
On the topic of Douglas Murray on Joe Rogan’s podcast, I want to share this comment on it by Konstantin Kisin: https://youtu.be/9Tk3ETnFjfo
Because I watched the podcast the way I usually do – with comments on YouTube removed via adblocker, and not following day-to-day online drama – and I came away with a completely different experience than seemingly most of the few other people I follow did – including you and Bret Weinstein. When I listened to the DarkHorse podcast where he and Heather discusses it, I was for the first time in a long time taken aback. Had we listened to a different podcast episode?
I don’t mind that we disagree, by the way. I often do and that’s good. But I think you need to think about this more carefully. I watched the October 7th attack live as it happened on live leak when Hamas themselves live streamed their atrocities. There’s a part of me that wishes I had looked away. But my primary feeling is that I’m thankful that I didn’t because as someone that has grown up with mass Islamic immigration (we let them in, so it wasn’t migration in this case) in Norway during the early to mid 00’s, I have my own bad experiences with culture clash between western values and Islamic ones. But I also have been under the impression (or illusion, as I now consider it) that it can’t be the religion itself.
But it is. I understand that people, especially you and me both, feel something is very off when someone appears to appeal to authority. But Douglas isn’t doing that if you listen carefully. What he’s saying is that if you are a self-proclaimed comedian and not a historian, but you use your platform to talk a lot about issues you have no first-hand knowledge or expertise about, and then use said background as an escape hatch whenever you’re wrong, you’re at best just covering your ass – and at worst you’re willfully rewriting history. When Douglas asks him if he’s even been to the area, I understand that alarm bells go off. But the context is important: When a comedian is making claims about how people in an area are living and being treated and how they feel, but has never been there themselves, it should give us pause when it’s presented as honest discourse. It’s one thing if it’s a joke as part of a standup routine, obviously. But you can’t escape behind “I’m just a comedian” when you go on podcasts and talk as if you do know what you’re talking about. It’s disingenuous and misleading, and in my personal opinion, cowardly.
October 7th is recent. I saw what Hamas did live, unfiltered from their own live streams. Not a recording. Before the videos got taken down. Hamas is an Islamic death cult. Let’s not give them the benefit of the doubt, please. Or it’ll keep spreading – as it already has – in Europe and, eventually, the US as well. And no I’m not “pro Israel”, I don’t function that way. I don’t put flags in my bio either ![]()
I have not researched this so I am going on your statement. I believe the logic is: an entity in bankruptcy and downsizing at the same time USAID is defunded, infers a direct connection. On average there are over 43,000 bankruptcy filings in the US each month. Seems like weak logic. Thus there must be another unspoken motivation.
Fair enough. The logic is: In a several week period, hundreds to thousands of USAID cutouts went dark. These were almost exclusively globalist, leftist, or communist organizations engaged in influence peddling. Within that same time period, zero right leaning establishments, whose ideology was then ascendant, went dark - from Cernovich to The Blaze to NRO to Judicial Watch. All carried on as normal, or in a slightly more robust fashion. DW, which had been exposed as a gatekeeping organization by the likes of Brett Cooper and Candance Owens, has been widely observed (as Chris and Evie are now commenting) to be an influence peddling and narrative control operation. The nature of their supposed ideological success (Trump victory) and the claimed nature of their primary funding - donors and subscribers - does not logically lead to a catastrophic and overnight collapse in funding when USAID money evaporates. But a glance at all the other political influence peddling operations that were collapsing at the exact same moment, lends credence to the theory that they all had the same primary funding source. Your mileage may vary.
Hamas may be an Islamist death cult but they were also founded (in part), propped up (in part) and used (in part) by the Israeli government throughout their history, which muddies the waters about who knew what when, at the very least. Oct 7th has at least as many bright red flashing question marks as 9/11, only with more solid leads on the lie put to the official narrative. The fact elements of the attack were broadly televised doesn’t make it either uniquely worse or uniquely more “real”. If governments plotting or standing aside for the deaths of their own citizens to score a larger political or military victory is something new to you, I suggest revisiting Operation Northwoods or even the recent NordStream bombing.
Oh, but try they do:
Seriously…WTF?
“I know we’re killing lots of women and children, but if you look at it our way, we’re actually the victims here.”
Seeing what the destruction and aftermath of Helene has brought to its victims, makes photos like this one hard to see.
Each apartment collapsed represents a family whose lives, if they survived even, are torn up. Trauma, stress, physical injuries, poverty, lost relationships and community, lost wealth, life achievements derailed, careers derailed, self identities and esteem damaged , friend and family groups broken and in most cases none of these things easily mended. Children with opportunities and futures greatly dimmed, and in some cases generations could be held down in poverty because of loss and displacement.
Knowing how hard it is to recover in the USA where generous donations from all over poured in, It’s hard to fathom an entire “Nation”'s is infrastructure being laid to waste like this and how that will impact folks for decades to come.
Perhaps if we could call them “Nazis” or something, and revile them it would be easier to forget them. /Cynicism
From the tone/timing of his response and Peterson’s pattern of trying to think things through adhoc, his exclamation, “I can’t do it” might be more a statement to his perception of ability to answer coherently, especially in light of the topic surrounding a book he said he didn’t read.
It does seem like an interesting topic. I think many people underestimate the risks associated with hatred ingrained at the cultural level against another group.
Recently saw this video on negotiation tactics (21m17s by Alex Hormozi). Alex points out that if a culture does not have an embedded sense of reciprocity, using it to get your way is just a way to give away free stuff.
Yes! it’s happened repeatedly throughout history and in every part of the world.
Importantly istory is still being written.
It’s not over. The potential still exists. It could happen even in our own country.
Judicial activism is the very definition of treason. The foundation for our country is the Constitution. Elected officials, commissioned officers and judges swear an Oath to defend it. Why? Because it is the agreed upon foundational document on which we as Americans have agreed to operate for 250 years. Is it perfect? No. It has been amended 27 times to accommodate the whims of the super majority. If a group wants to add or subtract from it there is a legal process to do it. There are no short cuts.
Given these facts, any district judge that imposes a nationwide injunction intended to stop the Executive branch from performing its duties is guilty of obstruction of justice and should therefore be removed from the bench. They have betrayed the Constitution by their acts and have willingly committed treason against America. Until these people are made to pay for their crimes, they will continue to defy authority.
The Supreme Joke gave us some interesting rulings over the years. In Dred Scott they found that a black man was the property of his owner after his “owner” moved to a “free” state. This ruling set the table for CW-1. CW-1 is what happened after democrats felt threatened that their institution of control (slavery) was being threatened. (Sounds like history is repeating.)
In 1973 the Supreme Joke said it was the law of the land to murder unborn babies. The outraged feminists over the reversal of this decision are willing to turn the country over to marxists in order to preserve their rights to murder children. This ruling will set the table for CW-2 as we know how democrats react when they can’t get their way. Given the fact that these people are psychopaths, I don’t see much room for compromise.
Given the track record of the judiciary over the past 250 years, I think it’s time they are knocked down a few pegs and returned to their intended place in the government, i.e. a weak 3rd branch without power.
The problem today is there are no recognized unbiased forums for adjudicating the law. Lawyers have trashed the law just as doctors have trashed the healthcare system, teachers have trashed education and bankers have trashed the financial system.
I’m not Nostradamus, but I don’t think we have a happy future until these problems are “adjudicated” in CW-2.
Good reply. I like Candance Owens but she has focused on topics of questionable merit of recent. I believe the Daily Wire has a number of commenters who do not support Trump. I would be more inclined to believe any decline in their income, income from an audience who are not leftists and who lean Trump, is due to their lack of enthusiasm for the new administration.
I have very closely followed some people for years and then, all of the sudden, one of them gets accused of being controlled opposition because they have an opinion different than the topic de jure. What I often see are false accusations against the people on our team by people on our team. That is a sure way to lose. Mikki Willis is really strong on this point of not fighting each other when we are on the same team. I think the attack on Peterson fits that pattern. I have been following Peterson for almost a decade. I know his weaknesses and have seen him step out of his expertise. But when a person is a net positive 75+% of the time, you don’t throw them under the bus.
I hadn’t bothered to follow it up, my experience of being flobbed off by many a Gov type before, citing option 1. Although I had heard the head of the AEC had visited China just prior to the Election, ? There are other stories to add, i.e. the Ballot boxes being removed from the polling station at the NSW election, ‘To a safe location’ amongst others. So confidence is low for me.
