Great find indeed. I also believe he took shots 9 and 10 even though the Hughes still says the 10th was by Sniper 1. Someone else claims the was merely looking through his scope while the 10th shot was done by Sniper 1. I will have to look again to see if I see any recoil.

If crooks knew that the overlook had snipers in it, he might have thought that the shot that hit his rifle, if it did hit his rifle, came from his right. Perhaps he was looking over to see if somebody was in that window shooting at him from the overlook building.
On the other hand, if you want to be more conspiratorial, he was probably looking over to see why his âbuddiesâ in the overlook building were shooting at him or he was confused as to why anyone was shooting at him and he was âasking forâ his buddiesâ explanation

I think I understand the basic concept of the presentation using the protractor method to correlate the map and photo degrees. That after adjusting for the angle of the camera, the degrees correlate. I had a little trouble at first, but think I understand most of it in general. I have had some trouble fully understanding some of the yellow indicators on the last two images. I see the positives in the degree method.
Just my thoughts, but I think the simplest way is to just state that the camera is at a leftward angle. Point out like 2 features: the screen area on the right hidden behind the trim, and circle all the framework on the left. The truth is, the science of perspective (I think itâs considered a science) requires a leftward view for those features to be there as they are. I think thatâs all that needs to be said, and think thatâs plenty of proof myself. Combined with the fact there are no towers out the left of the south windows. Like I said, those are just my thoughts.
I have a question. Do you know how far off the southern window is to the western tower degree wise, using the protractor method? Do you think itâd be worth showing the difference between the two windows?

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. I wasnât really going for a scientific explanation in the protractor slide, just a simple, logical, visual explanation. It was really more for my benefit, like my broader project is, though I do like to use it here in the forum as a way to help myself and others reason through this and make sense of the information and evidence. As for the yellow right triangles I think youâre referring to, those were used to carry out the 15-degree angle to the cell tower building protractor.
I assume youâre referring to the western cell tower. No, I didnât bother with it, or with the south windows at all.
One reason for doing a deep dive on details like the sniperâs nests is to see what the evidence might tell us and what it might not tell us. For example, that rifle and netting in the west nest stayed in the exact same position between the time that the first and third photos were taken. Very telling in my opinion. Was there actually overwatch being performed through that window?

The Hyundai Sonata and Elantra are very similar vehicles. The initial CNN report on July 15th was based on interviewing a law enforcement officer (https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/15/us/thomas-crooks-trump-rally-shooting-invs/index.html). What are the chances that he (inadvertantly) mixed them up? If you canât find a Sonata, I would explore the possibility that Crooks actually had an Elantra.

All vehicles on the AGR complex have been accounted for at the time of the shooting, except for an Alpha Romeo that likely belonged to Greg Nicol. So, he either never parked it there, not including his morning visit to the rally site if he parked at AGR then, or he did park on site then drove it off site before the shooting.
The only Elantra we saw was parked in the street across from the AGR main entrance. That would align with Jon Malisâ dashcam video which captured him walking next the sign like he just crossed the street. Unfortunately the clip presented by News Nation cut off before it got close enough to tell if that car was parked there. I canât find a reliable source that says what color it was, but I did read unconfirmed accounts of it being red and another that said grey.
What amazes me is there was nothing in the news about the car being checked by the bomb squad or being towed away. All we are told is that he parked near the rally.
