Involvement of rogue Mossad agents? I don’t find that plausible, since they would have succeeded.
Admittedly lack of imagination is not proof of a negative, but in the absence of any plausible conspiracy theory, I think the most likely account is the official one - Crazy Crooks acted alone.
Especially now that we know Crooks had made a Left turn years before, I don’t see any need for a conspiracy theory.

My opinion is worthless, because I know nothing about ballistics or physiology. But it seems to me he felt something hit him, although it’s also possible he’s just reacting to the sound, i.e. covering his ear.
Sure there are apparent anomalies when you scrutinize the evidence closely. But the real world is extremely complicated, and if you scrutinized last week’s garbage collection with the same energy you’d find a similar number of anomalies.

I don’t really want to start from the beginning here on all the problems with the “lone extremist” theory, but here are a few basics.
Shots 1-3 sound different than shots 4-8.
Many, many things were implausibly strange about the secret service setup:
the two security rooms (and no one will admit who decided to do that), the Buffalo SAIC being brought in lead the Secret Service security room, where the most critical message of all was not relayed.
The counter snipers being used for the first time, with the least experience of them being made the lead. AGR 9 was not visible to any team, and NO ONE has explored why.
The guy who supposedly took the kill shot (who should have been made the lead) wrote in his notes that day that he saw Crooks crawling into position. Yet he waited 15.94 seconds to “neutralize” Crooks, and made sure he died when he did.
The counter snipers saw “something working at the 3 o’clock” and nobody thought to radio that to the guys circling Trump.
J. Marciniak (the lead counter sniper) didn’t pick up radios that locals had set up for them, claiming in testimony that he was working on something else - but he could have sent someone else to do it.
The lead agent for the rally was one of the worst agents available. She was known to be unserious and had failed tests repeatedly. She spent 10 years in the army and only made it to Lieutenant - 90% of young officers make it to captain. But somehow she was picked for a huge rally with very difficult challenges.
Two local counter snipers wind up inside a building instead of on top of it, and no one has ever explained who made that decision.
Both of those counter snipers left their posts at the critical time - something that is the cardinal sin for snipers and counter snipers - and yet they haven’t been reprimanded.
The six agents assigned to personally protect Mr. Trump have largely been spared criticism. However, the fastest of the bunch waited until the second shot to react. That’s unacceptable in itself. The three others that did try to cover Mr. Trump waited until almost the third shot. The fat lady cowered behind the bunker. The blond guy pulled out his gun instead of doing his job. So two of the three people on the north side didn’t do their job. And Nick Menster pushed Mr. Trump’s head toward the front of the stage, and his head was visible in Evan Vucci’s pictures, which means it was visible from the AGR building.
The FBI has been in the business of stonewalling and destroying evidence. The FBI doesn’t powerwash roofs or clean crime scenes. The very few times they worry about it, they outsource it. They made sure Crooks’ body was cremated after a single autopsy with no outsiders present. They only bothered to dig one bullet fragment out of his body. T
Senator Ron Johnson gave a subpoena to Kash Patel to give up specific information or face jail time. Nothing has been heard of it since. I can only assume someone pulled Ron Johnson aside and said “drop it”.
Eric Trump has recently said he is “very unhappy” with the investigation.
As far as I know, it’s pretty much unprecedented for the head of the FBI to say (in July) “we’ll have a report in a couple of weeks”, then in November not mention a report and say they put cases “like these” in pending status (i.e. they won’t close it). He said nothing about any kind of report in his last interview, and IF the lady asking questions asked that, it was edited out of the interview.
I could go on but that’s probably enough.
Clearly President Trump is allowing Patel and Bongino to produce nothing for the time being, but I am certain it’s NOT because “there’s nothing to see here”.
My guess is that a combination of powerful Democrats and globalists were behind the attempt.
Mr. Trump and Mr. Patel know they cannot uproot the whole conspiracy (at least not yet), and either they have decided on their own, or have gotten threats to the effect, that several members of Mr. Trump’s family will die or otherwise suffer if they don’t leave it alone.
So I guess I am going with the “benign” coverup theory, if you can call that benign. I’m hopeful they are playing for time.

I need only Shot 1, hitting Trump and Copenhaver.

If you insist on a conspiracy theory, the most likely one would be a pro-Trump plot to stage that famous fist-clenched-in-defiance photo that won him reelection. Trump is the one who ended up benefiting the most from the shooting.

I’ve skimmed through this discussion, I’ve seen the anomalies. As I said, anomalies are everywhere in this messy world, the ones discovered here are not particularly anomalous, they all admit of explanations that are more probable than a giant conspiracy of globalists who can’t shoot straight.
Just to take these two examples:

OK, but the evidence for those as a motive for an assassination plot is pretty thin. Motives like that exist for every presidential candidate, but if you’re rich and powerful enough to orchestrate a ham-handed murder plot, then you’re R&P enough to find a much better solution - black-mail, Novichok, space-lasers, …
Why involve an incompetent kid like Crooks?
If he can talk out of both sides of his mouth, so can I. He and Bongino talk about “transparency” and give us little but lies and excuses.
I can call for their asses to be fired, and yet speculate that they may be dealing with forces they can’t handle.
But are you playing a dangerous game against the Dark Forces like they are? 
If you’re on Trump’s side, and believe Patel etc. are engaged in subterfuge for a noble reason, you shouldn’t be trying to make their lives more difficult.
That is a fair question, and I put a note in book draft to get back to that. So I guess I can thank you for that. My current backtracing of the 1st bullet puts it in one of the little triangles at the front of the AGR 6 building. It may have been controlled remotely from the room with the center window of that building. Assuming one of the local countersnipers was in charge of that rifle, he would have to hide the control equipment and get out of the room in a quick manner. And since he was controlling the rifle remotely, there would be some delay in re-aiming it.
Crooks was not a good shot (he was trying to join the 150 yard club at his range) and he had a poor quality rifle that didn’t have a magnified site. Assuming he took the five rapid shots, it’s not surprising he missed Mr. Trump, although I’m surprised he didn’t hit ANYONE besides Mr. Comperatore. It doesn’t make sense - there was basically a wall of people on the other side of the stage.
There’s the separate matter of the rifle that hit the telehandler and the rifle that was harassing the Hercules 2 team.
I almost cut off the guy who was best man at my wedding and the about the only friend of ours in real life a couple of weeks ago when he suggested that. Fortunately he backed down, and we had Thanksgiving with him yesterday. He knew so little about the shooting that he didn’t even realize that the shooter and a rallygoer had died! But apparently he had heard the whispering campaign.
The problems with the “Trump faked it” theory are legion. Most of all: What was in it for Thomas Matthew Crooks, who gave his “all” for the effort? What was in it for the Secret Service, that destroyed their reputation, and for Kim Cheatle, who had to resign in disgrace? And why has no news agency - most of which hate Trump, explored that theory?

the testimony of the Hercules 2 countersniper,
the Telehandler spewing fluid in a different direction than the AGR building,
Too many things hit in the span of the first three shots for three bullets
The US House report saying that “apart from a bullet hole in a hat, all shots came from the north, toward the AGR complex” - very weaselly wording indeed, plus the very problematic bit about the hat.
The House report is very sparse on its list of where bullets went, citing only the cover for the south jumbotron and a door for one of the green warehouses to the south.
Because the conspirators themselves are debatably more incompetent than Crooks, and I’ll add psychotic to incompetent.
I see the scrawny right arm of a brown-haired man, with his fist raised, 2 minutes before the assassination attempt.
That 3.9 seconds looks ‘unprofessional’.
I didn’t say I believed it, I just said it’s at least as plausible as the George Soros Did It theory. For example, it would explain why the Trump admin isn’t pursuing it.
I believe Crooks acted alone.
So who do you think the conspirators are? George Soros is not more incompetent than Crooks.
The first three bullets were not fired by Crooks, flew over Trump’s head and could never have hit him.
As he lay on the ground surrounded by Secret Service agents for 30 seconds, fake blood was applied to him.
This theory can explain everything, but Trump supporters understandably don’t even want to consider it.
You forgot that John Marciniak saw a police officer with his gun drawn in front of AGR 6 one minute before the first shot was fired. When asked why he didn’t notify Trump’s bodyguards about this increased danger, his answer was: “It didn’t cross my mind.”
And he positioned the northern Secret Service Counter Sniper Team in such a way that it was unable to fulfill its task of monitoring the roofs of the AGR complex because a tree blocked the view of one third of the complex. This was the only reason Thomas Crooks was able to reach the roof of AGR 6 unnoticed by them.
How was this total failure actually punished?
He was suspended for four weeks. He is allowed to continue working as a counter sniper for the Secret Service.
They weren’t counter snipers, just snipers.
He should have told his father that.

The Secret Service is a monopoly, so reputation is irrelevant.
